Chapter 14 Part 1

Slowly and reluctantly, I uncover my face. I blink, close my eyes, and blink again. Streaks of sunlight penetrate the window and blind me. I sit up, drag my feet off the bed, and rub my knuckles onto my eyes. I stretch my arms above my head and yawn. I watch my legs dangle above the off-white polyester carpet. I got up and walked to the window. I closed the blinds and went to get my stuff ready. I quickly went into the shower. The water pours down, it drips by my side, as my mind fades into dullness and everything is a foggy illusion. The sensation of the steamy water calms me; it takes my mind off things. All the things I honestly don't care about. It's the water. My mind swirls, and it's like I'm standing under an everlasting waterfall. Ever so beautiful, but it can never last, I know that now. My mind starts thinking about the date with Obito. I opened my eyes. I stepped out and wrapped myself in a towel. When I got to my room, I started to choose my cloth. I looked through my closet. I finally found the perfect outfit. It was a light green outfit with high knee boots.

I looked at myself in the mirror, I felt incomplete. I started fixing my hair. I started to brush my hair. My hair is so long that it was difficult to brush it. I turned around to find Kakashi looking at me. I smiled at him. He slowly walked up to me and got something from my dresser. He got close to my face and got a piece of hair and pinned it with the pins Obito gave me.

He slowly walked away and smiled at me. I slightly blush and turned around to the mirror. I pulled my hair into a ponytail. I touched the pin and memories filled my head with that night
His words echoed in my mind. "Give it to someone you cherish and I cherish you a lot." I snapped out of it and walked downstairs. Everyone was eating and laughing. I sat down at the table and started to eat. "Mina, what time does the ceremony start?" My mom said. "I think around 10." My mom quickly got up and looked at the time. "Mina it's 9:30." We all quickly got up and started to get ready. I heard a knock and went to open it. I saw Kurenai, Rin, and Asuma in my doorway. My mom pushed me outside with everyone else. We all walked to the ceremony. The ceremony was beautiful.

My family took their place and went to take mine. The ceremony took hours. The long speeches and each person called felt like years. When it was my turn and I got up and walked across the stage. I could hear my family screaming and cheering. The Hokage handed me my jonin jacket and a certificate. When the ceremony finished, i went to my family. My mom told me to pose for a picture.

My mom invited everyone to eat. Master Jiraiya pulled me aside and whispered in my ear. "Mina, tomorrow I'm leaving and i want you to go with me. Do you want to go with me?" I nodded. "Mina I'm asking you because i want you to meet someone special to me. She can teach you stuff." "Really, who is she?" "She's one of the legendary sunnin. Her name is Tsunade.

She's very skilled and talented. She can teach you everything in three months. So what do you think wanna come." "What can she teach me?" "Mina I notice you have super strength and Tsunade can help you control it. She can also teach you medical ninjutsu." "Master Jiraiya but you and I haven't finished training." "Don't worry you can learn from two people at the same time." We started walking to my house. I was thinking about what Master Jiraiya said to me. I really do wanna go and train but I also want to spend time with my family. "Master Jiraiya do you really have to go tomorrow? Is there any way you can change the date?" "Mina if you want to stay and spend time with your family and friends, we'll stay and leave in a week." He smiled and patched my head. "And while we're here you and my parents can train me." He nodded and smiled. "Let's go home, Mina."
