I walk out of my current class, seeming the bell for the end of the class hand rung. I begin walking towards my locker, needing to stuff away the books I had to hold for the past two hours.
Once I arrived I strugglingly opened it and put my books in, dropping a few. As I was about to pick them up, Sam beat me to it and grabbed them for me. "Here you go my love." He said cheerily, making me chuckle.
"Thank you young sir." I said in the same tone, making him laugh lightly. "So what's got you so happy today?" I asked curiously as I shut my locker, locking it. "Well, I've been thinking." He said making me furrow my eyebrows.
"Are you breaking up with me?" I gasped making his eyes widen. "What- no!" He shrieked, making me laugh. "I was thinking, and I want you to move away with me." He blurted, getting straight to the point.
"Sure." I said simply making him blink a little before running after me as I began walking. "Wait what?" He asked shocked and I chuckled. "No Colby I'm serious. I want you to move away with me. I want to get away from this place." Sam said again, making me slow down a little.
"Sam I don't know if you're serious or not-" "I am! I swear!" He exclaimed, holding my hands in his. "Sam.. even if we were to do such, we don't have any money. We wouldn't survive a day away." I replied, looking at him softly.
"I do. I have money that can last us both. And I have a friend out in LA who is offering us to live in a mansion with him." Sam said again, lowering his voice. "Let's get away from here. Let's live our life freely. Me and you." He said, looking at me in hope.
"Sam I.." "Colby please." He whispered making me sigh. If I'm being honest, I'm considering it. I looked back up at Sam and smiled lightly. "Sure I guess." I said softly making his eyes light up. "Really?!" He exclaimed and I nodded smiling a little brighter.
"Oh thank goodness. I couldn't last a day without you if I were to move alone." He whispered, hugging me tightly. "I couldn't last a day without you either." I replied, hugging back just as much.
"But there's one person I have to take with me." I said breaking the hug and looking up at him. "Sure, anyone." He said quickly making me smirk a little. "Brennen."
(Very short, but I have a reason why. I'm ending this book the next chapter. BUT, I'm making a sequel 😁)
