Kailia POV.
Today is the day that I will be able to branch out on my own and I'm so happy to be opening my hair salon.
"Hey kailia girl." My assistant sasha said to me as I walked in the door of my makeup store called journey makeup.
"Hey sasha any messages, any of the appointments for me?." I asked her getting settled in.
"Um yes, you have a 8:00 appointment today with Kerri and a 10:30 appointment with lisa and oh your father called and he wants to have dinner with you." She mumbled the last part.
"Excuse me?." I said with one eyebrow raised up.
"Kailia." She tried to calm me down but it was too late.
"He wanna to have dinner with now he waited 15 years to have dinner, he lost that chance when he decided to choose his wife over me." I said to her and she stayed quiet because it was the truth.
"Decline it." I said to her but she hesitated to cancel.
"Wellikindaacceptedit." She said really fast.
"What, say that again?." I told her and I made sure I heard her clear with my hearing aid in my ear
"I accepted the request." She said to me.
"Now why you do that?." I asked her.q
"Because it been 15 years since you talk to him, trust me you don't want to be guilty of not talking to him please give him a chance." She said to me and I know she is right.
"Fine one dinner if he fucks up, I'm done with his ass for good." I said in my calm voice as I waited for her to tell me more.
"After the dinner you have another appointment with the bank to get your bank statements from the sign the lease to own your salon." She said to me.
When I tell you, I have so much hair to do I had hair to do, this girl had came in one time with heat damage hair so I decided to roller set it.
Then I put her under The dryer and I went to my other client who wanted a silk press and a trim.
As I was finish with the silk press I went to my roller set took her out and finished.
A lot of people asked me how I was able to finish that with a lot of noise I tell them I don't focus on that I focus on getting my bag.
"Kailia it 4:30pm." Sasha said to me and I nodded letting her know I got it, and I got in my car and went home to change and went to the restaurant and met my father there and we talked I found out the reason why he decided to do what he did and I forgave him.
Then I went to the bank and seen one of my clients there.
"Hey bella boo." I said to her and hug her.
"Hey boo long time no see." She said to me.
"It sure has, I see someone went got their hair done by somebody else bitch you cheated on me?." I asked her.
"I'm sorry I tried to come to the shop but you wasn't there and it was during the time of you wasn't feeling good." She said to me and I let it go.
"Speaking of doing hair can you be my hair stylist for my wedding in three months?." She asked me.
"Sure that will give me time to set up and get my shop ready for customers." I said to her while walking away.
"And get a man." She said that.
I threw a piece of candy at her.
"I heard that heffa." I said to her as I'm walking away.
"You supposed to heffa."she said to me while throwing a candy at me.
"So are we supposed to be working or throwing candy." A familiar voice saying to us.
Then I turned around and seen the most finest man I known.
"Wait a minute Calvin Howard." I said to him and he looked at me.
"Yes." He said to me.
"It's me kailia Thompson." I said to him and he realized me and then hugged me
