Michael

"Alright everybody," Michael called, clinging his fork to his beer bottle as you smiled, taking a sip of your water. "Now, who’s ready to find out the sex of our baby?" Everyone cheered as Ashton let out some hoots, pumping his fists into the air. You had just hit your 6 month mark, and it was a better time than never to reveal the gender to Michael’s family, yours and some of your best friends. "I’m super excited!" Your mom giggled, smiling widely as Michael stood, extending his hand for you as he helped you stand. "Well will everyone please join us outside?" Some of the guests started mumbling excitedly to each other as Michael kissed your hand, smiling. "Ready baby?" You nodded and smiled, "Ready as i’ll ever be." The large box sat in the driveway, pink balloons inside as the words "Boy or Girl?" were written on the outside. "Now who thinks it’ll be a girl?" Half of the guests raised their hands, including a very excited Karen Clifford. "Boy?" You called, the other half raising their hands, as Calum waved his excitedly. Michael tore the tape off of the box, smiling excitedly as he winked at you. He opened the box, pink balloons flying out as the half who raised their hands, screamed in joy. "Yayy my baby boy is having a baby girl!" Karen ran over, embracing Michael as she kissed his cheeks. "I’m so excited for you!" Your mom kissed you as you smiled, hugging her back before hearing Michael rough housing with the boys. After everyone congratulated the two of you, Michael found you, smiling as he wrapped you in his arms. "Only 3 more months." You nodded and sighed. "I’m more than ready." He smiled, kissing you sweetly as little Lillian kicked happily in your belly.

Luke.

The waitress left your “party” table as Luke smiled, putting his arm around you, kissing your temple. “How excited do you think they’ll be when they find out we’re having a boy?” If Luke’s blue plaid shirt wasn’t a fair hint, then the blue clip in your hair sure wasn’t either. A small black board sat beside the table, boy and girl were split into categories, and it seemed more people voted for a girl, even your mother and only four or five people voted for a boy, which was odd. “I think they’ll be shocked, assuming more than half voted for a girl.” Liz waltzed over to the two of you, kissing Luke’s head before kissing yours. “I’m kind of ready to find out the sex of my new grand baby, I don’t know about anyone else.” You giggled, looking up at her. “You’ll find out soon.” After everyone conversed for a while longer, it was finally time. “Alright everyone,” Luke stood and walked to the board, smiling. “I see more than half of you picked girl, which is interesting.” You pulled a box out from under the table, blue and pink ribbons tied to it as you beckoned your mom and Liz over. “You two can open it.” The two of them smiled as Luke wrapped his arms around your neck, kissing you again as they opened the box. Inside was a mesh of blue and pink mesh paper. “Move it out of the way.” Luke said, giggling as they did so, the both of them screaming. “It’s a boy!” Everyone was shocked, standing and cheering anyway as the mom’s hugged and kissed on you. “Congratulations!”

Ashton.

You placed the cake box on the table, smiling to yourself as Ashton emerged from upstairs. “Can I see?” You nodded, opening the cake box as the words “What Will It Be?” written in different shades of blue and pink were written on top of the chocolate frosted cake, with blue on the inside. “This will be the best reveal.” He said, settling his hand on your waist as he kissed you. Just as you were about to say something back, the doorbell rang. “And our guests arrive.” You giggled, shutting the cake and putting it in the kitchen as guests of all ages started to pour in. “Hoping for a girl!” Calum said, smiling to himself as Ashton slapped a hand on his back. “Why a girl?” “I could see you absolutely spoiling her, like you do Y/N.” Ashton shrugged and chuckled, “Maybe.” You sauntered into the kitchen, seeing your mom preparing the food as you smiled at her. “Momma you don’t have to, I got it.” She shook her head. “You’re 7 months pregnant, take a load off!” You smiled, going to find Ashton as she finished cooking. After everyone was fed and mildly drunk off of beer and wine, Ashton brought the cake out, smiling to himself. “Mumma Y/L/N, do the honors?” She nodded and smiled, biting her lip. Everyone was mumbling as she cut the cake, screaming when she realized the inside of the cake was blue. “A boy!” Your dad yelled, grabbing your face and kissing you all over as you giggled. You guessed everyone was happy about a baby boy in the family.

Calum.

Since you were 5 months pregnant and had no idea what gender your baby was, you wanted to surprise yourself, Calum and the guests with an ultrasound party, revealing the sex to everyone. Your sister was a specialized ultrasound tech, wheeling in her machine as you giggled excitedly. “Are you sure you two have no clue?” She asked, raising one eyebrow as you shook your head, giggling. “None.” Calum said, kissing your head as she nodded. “Alright, well come on sister, let’s see!” Everyone gathered around as you laid on the recliner, Calum pulling up a stool so he could sit next to you. One of his hands on your head as the other held tight to your hand. “I’m so excited.” Michael said, smiling as the three of them stood behind Calum, your mom on the other side of you. You watched as your sister spread the gel on your belly, your heart beating rapidly as the room was silent. “Oh get on with it!” Your dad said, causing everyone to laugh as your sister rolled her eyes. She put the thing on your belly, your baby popping up on the screen as Luke gasped. “Look, the baby has Cal’s nose!” Calum chuckled as you squeezed his hand. “Everybody ready?” Everyone nodded as your sister giggled, Calum’s hand playing softly with your hair. “It’s a girl!” Your sister screamed as Calum gasped. “A girl! Baby we’re having a girl!” He said, tears forming in his eyes as he kissed you, the guys all patting his back as your mom hugged you. “Congratulations my love!” Your sister cleaned you off, fixing your shirt back before hugging you too, your dad joining in on the hug as well.
