Michael turned over in bed one more time, sighing as he peeled his eyes halfway open. The clock read 10:17 a.m. The bright gleam of the sunlight flooded into his bedroom, as he turned over, reaching for his fiance’s hair to play with, but her side was empty. He opened his eyes all the way, sitting up and noticing the small bassinet, that would have contained his 3 week old daughter, Lillian was also empty.

He smiled, as he got out of bed, adjusting his boxers as he slowly walked downstairs. He stopped halfway, spotting you at the kitchen island, tapping away at your computer. He smiled, looking at your figure as he bit his lip lightly. You had on one of his flannels, as it was unbuttoned half of the way, enough for him to get a peak at your engorged breasts. Your hair was thrown into a sloppy bun on your head and sitting on the bridge of your nose, was your reading glasses.

You silently cursed, taking a bite of the banana bread your mom sent you two as a gift as Michael’s eyes then rushed over to his daughter, Lillian as she was sitting in her sit me up seat Michael’s mother bought for the baby shower Michael put together for you when you two first found out the sex of your baby. Michael stood, admiring how beautiful his daughter looked, gnawing on her pacifier as she watched her mommy get frustrated behind the computer.

Michael remembered the nickname you gave her, “Mommy’s Little Miracle.” Little Lillian was born 10 weeks premature, leaving you and Michael on complete edge as she wasn’t even at her fighting weight, weighing in at 3lbs and 5oz. After you two seen your baby for a total of 5 minutes, she was whisked away to the NICU for immediate care. Michael remembers seeing her again, and how small and fragile she looked hooked up to so many machines and tubes in her nose.

He remembers telling you everything was going to be okay and that she was going to come out fighting like the champion she was. He remembers finally holding her for the first time, her small body fitting into both of his hands as she didn’t even realize her daddy was holding her. Michael smiled from where he was standing as he remembered the first night she was brought home, and how you two were up every hour on the hour, tending to your newborn baby.

He remembers the first time the boys came over, all of them cooing and showering the small child with bunches of customized shirts and cuddly toys she would grow old with. He remembers scolding Luke for not supporting her tiny head as Luke immediately handed the baby back, not wanting to harm her. He remembers Calum being too scared to even hold her, so he let Ashton have a go. Ashton had hands like a gorilla, so your baby girl could fit in only one of his huge palms.

Michael remembers being up half the night with his little girl, bouncing her gently and singing to her the never ending chorus of one of his favorite Slipknot songs. Although he didn’t sing it in the harsh voice they did, he slowed it down and sweetened some of the words even though his daughter still didn’t know or even care what they meant. Michael smiled at all the memories he could remember of Lillian, and he was sure there would be many more to come.

Michael caught himself staring back at you, before your eyes flickered up, spotting him with a grin on your face. “Good morning, Mikey.” You said, holding up your arms as you wiggled your fingers, inviting him in for a hug. “Good morning, beautiful.” He recoiled back, holding you tight, but not too tight in his arms as he knew how sore your breasts were. He placed his plump lips on your temple, kissing sweetly as you giggled. Michael went over to Lillian as her eyes were now closed, as she was now back asleep.

"She’s such an angel." Michael said, smiling as he caressed her tiny head. "She’s been on and off asleep ever since she woke me up at 8." You said, yawning as you put another piece of banana bread in your mouth. "I wanted some of that." Michael whined, pouting as you rolled your eyes playfully, sticking some of the bread out of your mouth as he smirked. "My girl." He whispered, taking the bite from your mouth as you giggled. His second favorite sound in the world, right behind your daughters whimpers.

A knock on the door startled the both of you, as you recognized the car that sat outside. “I’ll be right back.” You said as Michael went to the door, cracking it to reveal his three band members on the other side. “Jesus Michael, keep it PG.” Luke said, patting Michael on the back as Michael gave him the finger. “Where’s Y/N?” Ashton’s wife asked, as she handed Michael a small blanket, as he smiled down at it. “She went to change.” She nodded as Calum sat down his 2 year old, as she began crawling around.

Michael smiled, nice to see how his other mates were now settling down, creating families of their own. Luke had a fiance and a baby on the way, Ashton has a wife and they have yet to start a family and Calum has a fiance as well and a little baby girl of their own. “Hi guys.” You said, now dressed in a t-shirt of yours, and a pair of shorts. “How are you feeling, love?” Ashton’s wife asked, hugging you as she kissed your cheek. “Tired and sore, still.”

It’s been 3 weeks of the birth of your baby, but you were still sore, due to the ripping and tearing of your lady parts and your solid 30 minutes of hardcore pushing. “Can’t wait to have one of my own.” She said, giggling as she looked back at Ashton. Michael disappeared upstairs to make himself a little bit decent as Luke looked around. “Where is Lil?” “Over here.” You said, walking to your baby as you picked her up, a grunt rolling out of her mouth as you did so.

You were about to pass her around as Michael came back down, buttoning the button of his pants as he smiled. “Gimme gimme gimme.” He whined like a three year old as you passed Lillian over to him as he smiled wide. “Hi baby.” Michael rocked his baby back and forth as she looked up at him, her tiny fist locked around the base of his pinkie as Ashton’s wife’s hand went up to her chest as she smiled. “Daddy loves you so much.” Michael whispered, kissing her fist as you smiled too, nothing but love in your heart for your little family.
