Michael - It was another boring day in the Clifford household, you were resting upstairs with a cold while your eldest daughter, Lillian was out with a few friends for the afternoon. So Michael was in charge of looking after baby Leann, as she laid on her playmat, cooing and kicking at the toys dangling above her as she squealed every once in a while, The Bubble Guppies playing on the tv. Michael sighed and downed the rest of his beer, making a crude face before looking down at his daughter playing. “Having fun, baby girl?” He asked, joining her on the floor as she grinned at him, her eyes lighting up as she kicked harder, causing Michael to smile fondly at her. Michael grabbed her favorite toy from the bin, wiggling it in front of her as she giggled and began reaching for it. “If you want it, you got to roll over for daddy!” Michael wiggled the toy again as she grunted a few times, bawling up her fists. “You can do it. Mommy says you can.” She began moving from side to side and Michael smiled, shaking the toy harder. “C’mon c’mon.” He whispered, gasping as she finally flipped over, lying on her stomach as she grinned at him, still reaching for the toy. “That’s my girl.” He pulled her from her mat, holding her over his face as he praised her, kissing her every so often as loud giggles sounded through the living room.

Luke - Luke laid on the couch, half asleep half awake as Kaiden sat on his lap, his little head lolling from side to side, taking in all his 4 month brain could allow him to. This was the second time in two hours Luke was awake. He almost regret telling you that you had the night off. “Buddy when are you going back to sleep?” Luke asked, yawning as he held the bottle under his armpit, as Kaiden fell back into Luke’s chest, making a sound when his head hit the bone in his chest. “You’re silly, just like your mommy.” Luke pulled the bottle from his armpit, positioning Kaiden in his other arm as he put the bottle back in his mouth. Luke yawned again, checking the clock on the tv as it read 2:15 am. “Maybe our next baby won’t be a night owl like you.” Luke smirked, the thought of another baby was way to appealing, but right now it was a definite no. Kaiden hiccuped, Luke gasping as he looked down at the toddler. “Does Daddy need to rub your belly?” Luke pulled the bottle from his mouth, another hiccup coming from his lips as Luke chuckled. “You’re so cute.” Luke rubbed his belly, Kaiden’s eyes starting to close as he continued to hiccup, them soon fading away just as he did, right back into a deep sleep, only to wake up another hour later.

Ashton - Your son just hit his 9 month mark, hair just as curly and smile just as jolly as Ashton’s. He would always lie around on his playmat, in his crib or sometimes sitting in his bumbo babbling the day away and you knew he would be the talker just like his daddy. You skipped down the stairs, throwing your hair into a ponytail as you smiled, seeing Ashton lying on the floor in front of Graham, wiggling his fingers around as Graham just looked at him like he was crazy, his pacifier wedged between his gums. “Baby why isn’t he crawling yet?” Your son was a late learner, being born 5 weeks premature he was a bit late on things. “You know he was born a preemie, Ash. We have to give him some time.” Ashton sighed and sat up, looking at you. “He’s 9 months.” You shrugged and looked around, before smiling. “I have an idea.” You got on the floor in front of your son on all fours, nodding to Ashton. “Come on.” He joined you before he smiled. You began waddling away, Ashton following. “Come on Graham! Copy mommy and daddy!” Your son raised his arms, Ashton gasping as he raised his legs to, beginning to grunt as he tried moving. “He’s almost got it.” You said, biting your lip as he grunted harder, before giving up and beginning to cry. Ashton reached for him, putting him over his shoulder as he shushed him. “We will keep trying.”

Calum - Calum laid half asleep in his recliner, the football game playing loudly as you were out of the house, doing some last minute grocery shopping for the small get together your family was having this weekend. Just as Calum was about to doze off, he heard a shrill squeal coming from the baby monitor beside him, causing his eyes widen. Lungs like her mother, he thought, chuckling to himself when he ventured down the hallway, pushing open the door of the nursery as the cries only got louder. “Hey, hey, hey.” He called, the cries ceasing as he smiled to himself, turning off the mobile above Nebraska’s crib as he bent over the wood, smiling at her. “Hi my little angel.” She cooed, grabbing at her sock glad feet as she curled into a ball, her cheeks flushing pink. Calum chuckled, putting one of his fingers against her cheeks as she squeaked at him. “You’re the sweetest girl I know, besides your mommy of course.” Calum picked her up, grabbing her blanket as well as he ventured back to the living room. He grabbed her snacks on the way, plopping back down in the chair as he sighed to himself. “Want to watch football with daddy?” Nebraska had no other choice but to as Calum laid her on his chest, the blanket over her small body as she began eating her snacks. Calum smiled, kissing her quick as he focused back on the game.
