Tengen Uzui

Four months have passed since Rengoku-san's death. We obeyed orders we got from the crows during our breaks in everyday training, and each went out to defeat demons.

Even when we had to carry out our duties alone, Zenitsu just whines.

"I'll do my best. Just gimme a strand of (y/n)-Chan's hair."

Inosuke now has more pig assaults than ever.

"I'm charging until my bones break! Come on, you guys!"

Tanjiro works his hardest.

"Just a little more. Keep at it!"

And I think the fact that I'm not alone. Makes me kinda happy.

I smiled as I ran along with Inosuke, Tanjiro, and Zenitsu.

How did I end up in this situation...

I kept silent as I was carried in one of Uzui-san's arms, with Aoi over one of his shoulders. With Kanao and the three girls behind us, watching and protesting.

"Let us go! I...this girl...!" Aoi tried to protest.

"My god. Just shut up." Uzui-san said.

"Please stop ittttt!" One of the young girls said.

"Let them goooo!" Another girl cried.

Kanao stayed silent, debating whether to intervene or not.

Aoi reached out to Kanao. "Ka- Kanao! Kanao! Kanao-samaaaa!"

I blinked when I noticed something pulling on my pant leg. I tried to look but and saw a glimpse of Kanao's ponytail.

"Kanao..." Aoi and I mumbled. I smiled gently seeing that she listened to Tanjiro and I's words.

"Kanao-sama..." the girls said quietly, sniffling.

Uzui-san looked back at Kanao. "Don't just pull on me so plainly. You have your orders."

Kanao continued to pull on Aoi and I.

"Just say something!! You plain boring person!" Uzui-san shouted as Kanao held her grip on Aoi and I.

The young girls screamed at Uzui-san's outburst. "Ch-Chaaaarge! Chaarge!" The young girls cried out, running at Uzui-san. The all jumped onto Uzui-san. I giggled quietly.

"Hey...dammit, youuu...! Cut that damn crap out!"

"What're you doing to the girls! Get your hands off them!" Tanjiro shouted.

Everyone froze. I blinked, surprised to suddenly hear Tanjiro's voice. We all looked at Tanjiro, who was confused.

"It's a kidnapiiiing! Save theeeeeeem!" One young girl cried, who was hanging onto Uzui-san's head.

"You dumb little brat..." Uzui-san said, the young girl quickly letting go.

I blinked surprised when Tanjiro jumped at Uzui-san, aiming to headbutt him, only to miss. I blinked, surprised, to see we were on top of the entrance of the Butterfly Estate.

"You fool. I am the 'former shinobi' Uzui Tengen-sama. The man who is known as the most flamboyant around these parts. Did you think I would get headbutted by a snot filled brat like you?"

"Give (y/n)-chan and Aoi-san back!" Tanjiro exclaimed.

"Yeah! Yeah!"

"What're you even planning!"

"Pervert! Pervert!"

Kanao raised her fist up to signify her protests as well.

"You damn brats! Who do you think you're mouthing off to here!?! I have superiority! I'm a pillar you jackasses!!" Uzui-san angrily shouted out.

"I don't accept you as a pillar, hmph!" Tanjiro replied.

"Don't you 'hmph' meeeee!! What the hell do you mean you don't accept me?!? You lowly brat!! Is your brain completely dead?!? I need a girl member on the mission, so I'm bringing them along! I don't need Kochou's permission if they aren't 'successors'! Anyways, I'm taking them along on my mission. They may not be useful, but they're still a hunter's member regardless."

"People are their own circumstances, so I would like you to stop poking around insensitively!! Let go of (y/n)-chan and Aoi-san!!" Tanjiro shouted.

"Tepid, So tepid. You're a giant mess and plain out tired. The demon hunters are just getting weaker and weaker."

"We'll go in Aoi-san's stead!"

I then noticed Zenitsu and Inosuke on both sides of Uzui-san.

"I was just on my way back, but I got some strength left! I can head out!" Inosuke said.

"L-L-L-L-Let go of (y/n)-chan and Aoi-chan! Even if you're some kinda muscle monster, y-y-y-you're not t-t-taking a single step!"

Uzui-san narrowed his eyes. Everyone froze.

"...Oh okay. Then I'll let you guys come with me. But don't you dare defy me, punks."

Uzui-san then let go of Aoi-san and I. And Tanjiro, Inosuke, Zenitsu, And I followed Uzui-san outside of the Butterfly Estate.

"So?" Inosuke said as we continued to follow Uzui-san. "Where we going, geezer?"

"The most flamboyant place in all of Japan, filled with lust and greed."

We all tilted our heads, wondering where he was getting at.

"The 'Red Light District'. Where the demon lives."
