!Unedited!
Sorry for the late update and the short chapter! I got more work than expected during Christmas break.
Also thank you guys so much for 32k read and 1k votes, I never expected so many people to read this book and it makes me really happy.
Finally, I realized that the reader is seen with some love interests more than others, so I'm planning that I might make mini arcs or scenarios after the Swordsmith Village arc where the reader is with love interests who weren't seen as much.
Enjoy the chapter!!

I entered the building, seeing three figures inside.

"Hello there. I am the chief of this village, Tecchin Tecchikawahara. Very nice to meet you." The small elder introduced. "I may be smallest in this village, but I am also best at my craft. Now bow your head so low it touches the mat."

I hurriedly followed his instructions, not wanting to upset him. "...I-I am (Y/n) (L/n)...I'm honored to be in your...presence." I muttered, furrowing my brows in frustration at my stutter.

Uggghh I hate my stutter...

"What a good girl. Now come over here and take some dough cakes."

I stayed silent for a moment.

He...he does know I'm a demon right? Ermmmm it would be rude to decline.....ughhhhhh fine.

I nodded reluctantly and walked over, grabbing the basket of dough cakes. I frowned, uncertain, as I brought a dough cake up the mask. I lifted my mask up slightly after making sure I was protected from the sun, and took a bite. I almost wanted to gagged at the very bland and almost disgusting taste the dough cake had. I forced myself to swallow, thanking him before giving him back the basket.

"Kie is currently busy at the moment with another hunter's sword, so please be patient." He informed. "While you wait for her to finish her current assignment, how about you go to the hot spring. The hot spring in our village does wonders for the body and is perfect for relaxation. So please spend some time there."

It would feel wrong relaxing...but I never been to a hot spring before.

I nodded and a random sword-smith guided me to where the hot spring was located.

"The spring is at the top of the hill." The sword-smith said, pointing at a sign in front of a staircase, saying 'Spring'. "I will be preparing your meal down here."

"Thank you..." I muttered.

I flinched when I heard someone shouted towards me, quickly realizing it was the Love Pillar, Mitsuri Kanroji.

"Ahhhhhh! It's (Y/n)-chan! (Y/n)-channnnnnnnn!" Mitsuri cries out as she ran towards me.

"Uhm...! Uh...! Please be careful! Y-Your chest.....!" I blushed heavily, trying not to look at her very revealing cleavage.

Mitsuri hastily fell into her knees once she reached me. "Listen, Listennnnnnn! I got ignored! I greeted him and he ignored me!"

I furrowed my brows, not knowing what to do. "Uhmmmmm who?"

"I don't know!! I asked him his name and he ignored me! Isn't that just cruel?! I'm a pillar!" Mitsuri cried, covering her face with her hands. "Now all that good energy I got from coming out of the spring is completely gone!"

"Well....They're starting dinner soon. I heard they're gonna use matsutake mushrooms." I informed, hoping that'll cheer her up sum.

I was proved right when Mitsuri quickly uncovered her face, showing a wide smile and happy expression. "Whoaaaa! You serious!?"
