Nobody's POV

Once the battle with the female titan had ended, Levi headed back to collect Maya from the spot he put her in.

He didn't want to admit it but anymore time that she was left there was more time for her life to be taken away. And he didn't want that.

He has strong feeling's for this girl and at first he didn't want to admit it. But overtime he has grown more attached to her.

Little did he know that Maya felt the same way towards him. But she was too scared of ruining the strong bond that they both shared towards each other.

Her and Levi were from different places but had the same background and past. This is one of the main reasons they are so close to each other. Nobody could separate them, even Erwin knew that.

Erwins POV

I was waiting for Levi and Maya's squads to arrive so that we could go back to walls.

I couldn't help but wonder where they were. We were all outside of the forest since I gave the orders to retreat due to the extensive amount of titans. Anymore time in there and we might've not been so lucky to have the amount of soldiers that we have now. Thanks to Maya's squad the death rate has been lowered since she has been fending off the titans. Stopping them from getting close to us. I owe my life to that girl since she's saved mine so many times.

I was too deep in thought to notice Mikasa carrying someone on her back - Eren.

"Commander we have to get Eren some rest he's been through a lot today. I got orders from Captain Levi to get him a wagon for him and I to rest on." She said whilst trying to catch her breath.

"You've done a good job Cadet. Go get some rest, we will be setting back off to the walls soon. We are just waiting on Maya and Levi now." I replied with.

She just nodded and went off to one of the free wagons for her and Eren to rest in.

I look to my side and see two figures flying in on 3DMG. I caught a glimpse of the figures and could see that it was Levi. Carrying Maya?

I couldn't help but wonder why he was carrying her and why she wasn't using her own gear.

Once Levi made an impact with the ground I could see him trying to hide the pain in his eyes. Not only did I spot him injured but I saw him with Maya in his arms bleeding out almost dead.

My eye's widened in shock as I raced over.

"Levi what happened? Where are your squads?" I questioned.

"Dead. Erwin they're all dead. My squad and two members of Maya's Brooke and Mason. After I saw that they were all dead I found Maya impaled with a tree branch. We need to get her back to the wall as soon as possible Erwin. If we don't she's not going to make it!?" He exclaimed. I could see the pain in his eyes.

He's been through so much, his squad, Maya's squad and now Maya almost on her death bed. He didn't deserve this. They didn't deserve this...

"Okay put her on one of the wagons and we'll see what we can do for her" I said.

He didn't hesitate to do just that.

Levi's POV

I was riding on my horse that one of the cadets got me after I ventured into the forest.

Who knew what would happen? I certainly didn't expect my entire squad to get wiped out.

I try not to show it but deep down I'm grieving. I haven't cried in years and I don't intend to do it now.

I wonder how Maya feels about loosing two of her best fighters. I hate to admit it, but I never wanted Maya to become a squad leader or share the title of Corporal with me. I knew that she would have to make decisions that she would regret. But she has handled them better than me.
In a way we are both the same person inside.

We hate to show our emotions. We both despise the ugly things called titans and we both know what each other is thinking.

I definitely look up to this girl. She's been through so much in her life that she has learned to embrace it.

She hasn't cried ever since that one day.

I'm definitely in love with this girl.

Wow another chapter done! Who knew Levi would have these types of feelings towards a character you barely even know huh??
