I walk in class and see Olivia being weird and talking to people.

I just stand at the door and wait for them to stop being weird.

"Look it's our friend, Makenna!" Olivia says out loud.

"No, I'm not! I'm not friends with these weirdos." I say as Olivia jumps on me and hugs me.

I push her off me and walk to my seat.

"Way to embarrass me guys." I say slouching in my seat.

"Aww, you loved it." She said putting her arm around me.

"Nope, not really." I say moving her arm.

"He seemed to love it." Olivia pointed across the room.

I see Jalen smiling at me.

I instantly hit Olivia.

"Ow!" She yelled.

"Why would you embarrass me like that?" I ask her furious.

"Why do you care? If you don't like him?" She asks.

I look at her and roll my eyes.

She laughs and points her finger in my face.

"You do like him don't you?" She said laughing.

"Hey Jale-"

I smack my hand to her mouth.

"No I don't like him. Have you took your medicine today?" I ask her.

"Nope. I ran out of pills and the doctor still hasn't prescribed me any." She says pouting.

"Yeah, you need some asap." I say laughing.

"Wassup." Jalen says leaning by my locker.

"What do you want, kid?" I say getting my backpack and closing my locker.

"You are sitting by me at lunch." He says.

"Dang, it's not like a question or something." I say laughing.

"Last time, I asked you turned me down. I know how stubborn you are, so i'm making you." He says.

I smirk kinda impressed.

Like I know everyone knows i'm stubborn, but for boys it takes a while to see if a girl is stubborn or not. I like my stubbornness, but sometimes it gets the best of me.

"So you've observed... that's cute. and okay i'll be there." I say to him.

He just smiles and walks off and winks at me.
