Today in science class i've recently gotten paired up with Elijah and Tyler. Some new friends I made. They're both pretty cool.

Elijah plays football and Tyler does soccer. So I call them sport jocks just for jokes.

"Hey jocks!" I say walking in to class and to my table.

"Just cause we play sports doesn't mean we're jocks." Tyler says.

"Yeah, you play a shitload of sports so what does that make you?" Elijah asks me.

"A sports geek." I say shrugging.

"I heard about you Makenna." Tyler says looking off.

"Tell me."I say automatically.

"Hey don't leave me out of this." Elijah says.

"I've heard you're says Jalen." Tyler whispers.

"No! We're just friends." I say.

"Yeah ight." Elijah says.

"We are!" I protest.

"All the boys talk about you and Jalen. Well mostly you.. but a little bit of Jalen." Elijah says.

"What's that suppose to mean?" I ask confused by his words.

"Obviously all of the boys are crushing on you and despise Jalen for being with you." Tyler says.

"Do y'all like me?" I ask.

They look at each other and shrug. "Yeah." They say unison.

"No, I mean like really really like me." I say.

"I mean you cute and all...." Elijah says pausing.

"But you ain't all that." Tyler says.

I sigh shocked.
They just laugh.

"We just kidding.. we would totally smash if you wasn't our friend though." Elijah says nodding.

"Aww! We're friends." I say surprised and group hug them.

"Ya boy doesn't like when you hug us." Tyler says.

I back away from them and turn around to see Jalen staring.

"So? We're not dating. He can't tell me what to do." I say.

They both look at each other and laugh.

"Yeah ight." Elijah says.

"He doesn't like me so stop!" I say chuckling.

"Oh really? Watch this." Elijah says as he puts his arm around me.
