Today was our first football game... well my first football game. I'm excited because I tried out for cheer recently and I made it.

We had to wear our uniforms to school because our game was like only an hour after school started. And we have a pep rally today.

So it'll be lots of FUN!!

I walk to my science class... probably my favorite class of the day.

"Elijah! Tyler!" I say as I walk in.

"Wassup brothers!" I say mocking 'Josh' from Drake and Josh.

"Makenna, how many sports do you play?" Elijah says irritated.

"Ay.. stop bullying me." I pout.

I look and see Dejuane sit at the table with us.

"Wassup!" He says casually and sits.

"Wassup, my guy." Elijah says dapping him up.

Dejuane looks at me and smiles.
I roll my eyes at him laughing.

"I didn't know you were a cheerleader... now that I know you can cheer me on. Ya know see how fye I am." He says.

"The only person I'm cheering on is Elijah." I say.

Elijah holds his hand up for a high five.
I proudly slap his hand.

"And that's on period." I hear his deep voice say.

"Dang, It's like that." Dejuane says laughing.

I just shrug.

"So when y'all gone put me on?" Dejuane says.

"Makenna is practically taken." Tyler says.

Dejuane looks at me for approval.

"Yeah, a little something like that." I say.

"Well who is it?" Dejuane asks.

Me, Elijah, and Tyler all look at each other at the same time.

I quickly look down to not show my blushing.

"Look at her blushing and shit!" Elijah says teasing as Tyler laughs.

"How about we just bring him over here?" Tyler suggests.

"No." I say.

"Ay Jalen come here bro." Elijah yells.

"Elijah shut up!" I say.

"Jalen?" Dejuane says in disgust.
