Jalen Green

Today we have a game. I play for a summer league team to keep me up on basketball.

I walk in to see Makenna there.

I haven't talked to her since they we were in class.

"Hey Makenna!" I say.

"Hey!" She gets up from the bleachers.

"What are you doing here?" I ask.

"My brother is about to play and he wants me to be here." She says shrugging.

I never knew she had a brother.

"Where's your parents?" I ask hoping she's not here by herself.

"They were too busy to come to their sons game, so i'm here with the girls." She says.

I turn back and see Olivia, Kennedy, and Maddie.

"What are y'all going here?" I ask.

"Mrs. Olivia here has a thing for my brother." Makenna says eyeing her as Olivia blushes.

"So I assume y'all are gonna watch me too, right?" I ask.

They all looked each other.

"Nah." They all say in unison.

"Why? You're gonna be missing out on my hotness." I say.

Makenna just smiles.

"I'll stay. Maybe I can find out if your as good as they say." She says teasing.

"Bet." I say.

Me and Olivia walk to the concession stands and see Jalen and a little girl.

"You just keep following me, huh?" Jalen says.

"Maybe." I smile then look at the girl.

"Hey what's your name?" I ask her.

"My name's Jurnee. Are you the cheerleader from the football game?" Jurnee asks.

"I am a cheerleader, but I don't know if your talking about me." I say smiling at her.

"You're the girl that Jalen-" Jalen quickly covered her mouth.

"Okay, that's enough. Isn't it?" Jalen says.

I just laugh and Olivia joins me.

As we were walking back to our seats Jurnee quickly grabbed my hand.

"You should say hi to our parents. Come on!" She says.
