"If it keeps its victims alive, why would it kill Roy?" Ben asked

"Honestly? I think because Roy shot at it, pissed it off," Sam replied

Ben found a trail of peanut M&Ms and picked one up. "They went this way,"

Sam caught up to Ben, who handed over the M&M. He laughed, thankful for Phoenix bringing the bag. "It's better than breadcrumbs," Sam tossed the M&M away. Sam and Ben followed the trail. They came to a mine entrance marked with a sign that said 'Warning! Danger! Do not enter extremely toxic material.' He looked at Ben, shrugged, and went inside.

Ben followed. Above the entrance was a larger sign that said 'Keep out no admittance.'

Sam shined the flashlight ahead of them. Growling; He shut off the light and pulled Ben against the wall.

The Wendigo came towards them.

Sam covered Ben's mouth before he could scream.

The Wendigo took a different tunnel at the crossing.

Sam and Ben kept going. The floorboards creaked and Ben and Sam fell through the floor; they landed in a pile of bones. There was another pile nearby of skulls.

Ben spotted them and leaped backward.

"Hey, it's okay, it's okay, it's okay," Sam and Ben looked up; Dean and Haley were hanging by their wrists from the ceiling. Sam ran to Dean, Ben ran to Haley. "Dean!"

"Haley, wake up!" Ben exclaimed

Sam grabbed Dean and shook him. "Dean!"

Dean opened his eyes.

"Hey, you okay?" Sam asked

Dean winced "Yeah,"

"Haley, Haley, wake up, wake up!" Ben exclaimed

Sam cut Dean down and Ben took care of Haley. They helped them over to an empty patch of floor and got them sat down.

Dean made pained noises.

"You sure you're all right?" Sam asked

Dean grimaced. "Yeah. Yep. Where is he?"

"He's gone for now. Where's Phoe?"

Haley divested herself of rope. She stood up and spotted Tom still hanging and started crying.

Sam looked over and saw a familiar redhead in the same predicament. "Phoe..." he hurried over and began to cut her down.

Dean helped hold onto her as she was still unconscious.

"Tommy..." Haley touched Tom's cheek.

Tom's head jerked up.

Haley jumped back and shrieked. She turned to Sam "Cut him down!"

Sam cut Tom down.

"We're gonna get you home," Haley told Tom. They headed down a tunnel, Dean, and Sam in the lead as they supported Phoenix and Haley and Ben supporting Tom, who was limping. Growling.

"Looks like someone's home for supper," Dean noted

"We'll never outrun it,"

"Stay with Sam and Dean. They're gonna get you out of here," Phoe said as she got herself standing.

"Phoe...what are you gonna do?" Sam asked

Phoenix winked and started walking and yelling. "Chow time, you freaky bastard!"

Sam waited until Phoe was a safe distance away.

"Dude..." Dean said "She's a badass,"

"You're not her type," Sam said simply "All right, come on! Hurry!"

The Collinses followed Sam and Dean down the tunnel.

Sam, Haley, Ben, Tom, and Dean hurried down a tunnel. Growling. "Come on, hurry, hurry, hurry," Sam ordered. They ran to the end of the tunnel, the Wendigo right behind.

"Get behind me," Dean ordered

Sam and Dean were large enough to hide all three Collinses.

The Wendigo approached, taking its time.

Phoenix came up behind the Wendigo. "Hey!"

The Wendigo turned. A light shone in Phoe's hand and she fired it at the Wendigo. The Wendigo went up in flames.

Phoe smirked weakly "Not bad, huh?"

Sam and Dean grinned, only to frown when Phoenix fell to the ground. "Phoe!" Sam shouted.
