Chapter 13

"It has been confirmed that BTS' Park Jimin, Kim Taehyung, Jeon Jungkook and Min Yoongi has been admitted to X Hospital this afternoon. The car they were driving in was successfully pulled out of the ditch. No further news has been received. Moving on to the next st-"

Namjoon turned away from the TV. He, Hoseok and Seokjin were waiting outside the emergency room. Sejin, their manager was also at the hospital but was currently getting some drinks from the vending machine.

"I shouldn't have left them," Seokjin mumbled to himself as he looked at the floor. A tear fell from his eye. "This is all my fault."

Namjoon heard everything and immediately hugged the older. If Seokjin felt guilty about leaving them, Namjoon blamed himself more. He was the one who said they'd be fine on their own. He was the cause of all this.

Hoseok noticed the two's expression. So broken and guilt-ridden. He was anxious and worried but he forced himself to give them a reassuring smile. "It'll be fine. They're gonna be okay."

"I really hope so." Namjoon said, his voice shaky.

Just then, the emergency room door opened and a man wearing a white coat came out. His name tag read 'Dr Ahn'. He approached the members.

"They are all in a stable condition for now but it will take some time before they wake up." Dr Ahn said. After he scanned the members' face, he continued, "I suggest you get some rest first and eat up. Be patient and don't worry."

He left and the members sighed in relief. They saw Sejin walking towards them with a bunch of drinks in his hands.

"Did you get any news?" He asked, handing each of them a drink.

"Yeah," Seokjin said, smiling. "They haven't woken up yet but they're in a stable condition!"

Everything is gonna be okay, Seokjin thought. Everyone is gonna be alright.

It has been three days since the accident and Jungkook, Taehyung and Jimin have all woken up. Yoongi was still unconscious. They all had visited him and was shocked to see that he had broken his leg, a bandaged head and a huge wound on his arm. His whole body was also covered in purplish blue bruises.

During the accident, Yoongi was the only one who didn't wear a seatbelt. When people found them, he was in the front seat area with his head against the dashboard.

They were all in Yoongi's room, staring at the battered up, small body on the bed. Each one of them was blaming themselves for what had happened.

"I'm sorry, hyung," Taehyung said as he cried. He touched Yoongi's cold hand. "It's all my fault."

"Stop it, Tae," Jimin said, placing a hand on Taehyung's shoulder. "You're not at fault. It was me. I insisted that we go to the park. I'm responsible for all this."

"I was the one fucking driving!" Jungkook gritted his teeth. "I'm the one to blame!"

"It's no use blaming yourselves," Namjoon stated in a calm voice. "Let's just hope he wakes up soon."

Everyone was silent again and they continued to stare at the second eldest's face, hoping that his eyes would open. They wouldn't even mind if he curses them the moment he wakes up.
