A Family Affair

"How was the trip?" my mom asked as I had finally gotten over the jetlag after three days of adjustments and hardly any sleep- they were more like naps

I smiled, my hair all messed up, cameras all over the house recording every second of the day- still am not used to this whole daily documentary thing.

"It was so fun, the food was great I mean of course it always is in France" I threw corn flakes into my mouth "I met some really cool new people and it was just amazing, they were so chill and so easy to vibe with. We all made plans for another vacation but I think this time it'll be in Hawaii or something, something simple you know? We call it the relaxing trip but of course we don't have a date yet, still too early- OH! we have a group chat and its the best thing, I love 'em."

"Wait." We both paused, stared at each other

"Flowers? Again? Really?" I stuffed my mouth with more frosted flakes, True staring at me as my baby sister was sitting in front of me on the counter as my hands squished her cute tiny feet

My mom groaned all annoyed I mean I would too if my ex who cheated on me a gazillion times sent me all these necessary shit to win me back. Ever lasting flowers, bear shaped flowers? What's next a damn ring? A car? A house? Let it go, you fucked up and you will continue to fuck up and we're over your shit.

"It's nice, just put it somewhere- Alexa, here take it" My mom smiled as she handed her assistant the pink Venus Fleur roses

"Alexa, be honest. How many has my mom given you flowers from you know who" I picked up baby True as we I sat by the infamous round dining table, I sat her on my lap while she played with the laces of my hoodie

She gave my mom a quick look before exposing it all "Well, when you left it was like crazy. I got about seven at home right now so this is uhm eight" She laughed with a smile, Alexa is by far my favorite assistant my mother has ever had and I wish she were mine but I don't need any assistance just yet!

"Mhm, alright.... A lawsuit is looking like the move" I glanced at her as my mom darted her eyes at me and at True, I know she wants to but she loves True so much more than to let her anger towards her father get in the way

"Sorry"

"I'm going to see my girls tonight, uhm we are going out tonight, the youngest of the clan. We're going bowling and then maybe club? I don't know, whatever it is I have to be prepared for both" I drowned True in kisses, she liked it at first but after the third one she started yanking on my hair

"I thought you're going out to support Lili and Madelaine on their premiere?"

"That is tomorrow night ma'am, so I guess clubbing might be for tomorrow- regardless-" The great Kourtney Kardashian walked in with the Lord himself who made the big entrance cutting my sentence off "The Lord and Mother Theresa have entered the premises"

I gave them all hugs and cheek kisses, it's only right to- it's manners.

"Hey Sage, you wanna know what I was thinking?" She looked at me with the biggest smile on her face she couldn't keep it together

"Uhm no not really" I answered sarcastically with a smile

"You should date uhm- Anwar, The Hadid sister's little brother! Your age-"

I had to cut her off "Nope, no, no. I'm not letting you play hooky with me, last time that happened the dude got jealous and texted me saying I should watch out just because I was hanging with a new guy. No. You are very terrible at these things, I love you but no thank you Kourt" I came toward her and grabbed her by the shoulders mouthing the words no, no sound came it

She laughed, Scott looked concerned and mom had no idea. I tell her everything like everything, we are each others bestfriends

"Here" I handed them my phone so they can read and see it for themselves so I don't have to go through all of the trouble to try and explain the things that went down with the golden boy that everybody loves.

He's a family friend to Ken and of course the infamous three Kardash sisters! Often times he'll be with us at trips because he is Kendall's best friend. So I'll get used to this really quick. But him? Not so much

"Wow, I did not know that was-"

"I still consider him as a friend, no bad blood or anything. I'm just over here enjoying my life, loving it and living it, I'm not perfect like everybody else- I make mistakes a lot of them in fact but I love hard. I won't abandon people the way they might do me, wasn't raised like that sorry" I shrugged

"Amen sister" My mom clapped her hands, voice real loud

"Boy that was deep" Scott twisted a new bottle of Fiji water open
