I sat court side beside his brother, Davon. It was only the two of us since Devin's mom had to stay back to watch over Mya who dreaded the fact that she had to stay back and go to high school. Mya insists that I just kidnap her and let her live with me in L.A since it's where both her brothers are, it's funny enough because the way the three of them fight make it seem like they wouldn't want to be within feet of each other, but that's how siblings are.

"Damn, who is blowing up your phone?" Davon looked at me, handing each of us nachos and an alcoholic beverage that no one doesn't need to know, it's a clear cup with a clear drink and lime. I'm not the driver, last time I checked Davon picked me up so he shouldn't even be drinking

I laughed and showed him the messages "Mya hates high school, and the fact that she has to go through calculus as a freshman. Smart girl problems"

Davon laughed with me, responding "She says being too smart and being the brother of Devin Booker makes her 10 times cool but can't focus because she says her fans need help with homework and I tell her those aren't fans, those are losers trying to use you"

I then agreed, as she brought this problem with me not so long ago "I know! I told her to tell them that's not going to win them courtside tickets, beat it and learn how to do some e equals mc squared shit. High schoolers can be fuckin ruthless"

The game hasn't started yet, but the national anthem was about to happen just as soon as the starting players of todays game were introduced. Our knuckles bumped against each other and pointed upwards, it's kind of my thing with Davon- it signals good luck or may God be with you. Devin loves how we all just get a long, his eyes brighten and smile shows every time he sees Davon and I do that, it's for him, not us. All good things for the man we care for.

"Drop 72 baby!" I yelled as he jogged on the court, going toward the ball, he shook his smile off but looked back up and winked at me

It's an inside joke, his career high is 71, we always tell him he could beat his own record and laugh about beating it by one point.

"Aw shit I didn't know you loved me that much" Davon clapped and pointed right back at his brother, I nudged him as we both laughed

Tonight they were going against the Clippers, it's always a close one with them but the Suns manage to let the Clippers surpass them by 20-10 points, 10 points is nothing, 20, you can catch up but that's if you hustle your whole team.  The Suns are good, the players are amazing, their plays just suck and the coach? Nice, amazing guy but let's hope that with Monty Williams coming into the cuts, things will start to look up.

"SHOOTERS SHOOT BABY!! SHOOT THEM THREES" I stood up in the chair as Davon and I held onto each other waiting for the ball to go through the rim

"Clean Shot By Devin Booker!" We heard the sports announcer excitedly yell throughout the stadium

Davon  walked and did the Hulk pose toward his brother as I clapped down low between my legs and shot an invisible ball and dusted my hands off clean. We go crazy for him, every success he makes, big or small a success is a success, we can't take that for granted.

"Courtside, Devin Booker's brother and girlfriend going crazy over that shot, not going to lie to you Chauncey, that was fresh"

"Wow fresh? Nice word Brian"

Davon and I met back at our seats and dapped each other up, sitting down in sync, we looked at each other as if that was literally the coolest to thing to ever happen.

"That was a good game" I gave him a hug, he sighed heavily, body physically dropped down "Aye baby you already know I carried that game" He joked around

"With my help" Kelly Oubre gave me a friendly hug, I've hung around him when Devin decides I can hang with his teammates (they throw parties and bring their girlfriends, sometimes)

Kelly and Devin are good friends, they get along well, they're the duo that might equal to the Splash Bros. We jokingly call them the Step Bros, little inside joke that gets the crowd laughing.

"You not throwing no Kardashian party anytime soon?" He pointed at me, we're known for the parties if you stop looking at big ass and family drama

I laughed at pointed at him knowing where he's getting to "Not that I know of but I'll let you know, hook you up with a friend or something"

He gave me a look, I know that look because I know exactly he wants me to hook it up with some of my friends, not really know who but he wants my friends, "preferably"

"Boy leave her bestfriends alone" Deandre Ayton greeted me with a wave and a little fist bump

"Zendaya has a whole ass mans, Madelaine though, 30 year old rapper beau walked the walk, and as for Lili, well Cole has got fuckin issues with little Miss Kaia so everyone but Daya really."

"Ah shit, that's a tough pick I can't lie to you, you got beautiful ass friends"

"I know I do, if you gotta choose between my friends shit you gotta catch you somebody else because my friends are no choice, they're the answer honey" I tilted my head and let my hand hang in the air as Devin and Deandre laughed

"You can't win with her" Devin swung his arm over my shoulders

"Boy, my friends aren't toys you can choose from the shelf and decide if you want it or not" I defended even though I knew it was a joke

"Say you know I been waiting for Suite Life to fuck up, send me her way, let a man treat her right"

"Kelly, the man and her dated for like two years, they weren't toxic, they were good t each other" Devin tried to add, but knowing Kelly, he's got something else to say "And yet he cheated, shit what do we always say?"

"Black men don't cheat" The three of them spoke all at the same time creating an echo of laughter

It was the morning before it was time for Devin to head back to Phoenix, one last game and they get a few months break time prior to the actual season to begin. Summer season was good but Devin says they could do better and need to. His goal for this year is to make it to championships, says he's got the guys to do it and I fully support and agree to that

"Well good morning to you two" My mom was up, made breakfast as my eyes still adjusted to the light and the first thing my eyes settled to was my dad and my three siblings in the backyard in Tutu's play area, my dad's been around almost everyday and it's the best thing. I love it, we've all never been any closer

"Good morning" Devin woke up before me, always does and I hate it because when he wakes up he's loud at brushing his teeth, using the bathroom and even walking but I'm slowly getting used to it, more sleep is the best sleep

"We're having breakfast in the backyard"

"Mom you need help?" I asked, plopping onto the marble counter top

"I'll help you, baby go to your dad and say hi" Devin pushed me toward the sliding door as I rolled my eyes playfully knowing that I'm not fully awake, I'll end up tripping and letting breakfast slip through my hands

"Heeyy" I flailing my hands in the air for my siblings to notice me

They all came rushing toward me as True tried to keep up.

At the end of breakfast, Alexa handed me a magazine- People magazine. It's like TMZ but through a magazine and they respect people's privacy so much more. I'd say TMZ should really take notes

Devin leaned in to read the tabloid with me

"Hey guys did you know that Dev and I are engaged and having our first child together?" I handed my parents who sat in front of us, the magazine

They laughed "This is what happens when you spend time with Devin's family, they feed you that good shit that you end up looking like you're two months pregnant" My mom knew Ms. Gutierrez has amazing cooking skills that every time that she's in town they trade recipes. And Devin's dad has the best seafood recipes that I will crave till the die i falter

"That seafood boil was the fuckin best and I'll eat it again, come tell me I'm pregnant with twin baller babies that'll grow up to be 7ft tall"
