Quickly Tabaqui had run as fast as he could. He was so excited to tell "his master" as many called the one he was wont to walk with almost every single time that he had found what was sought out.

"Oh My Quite Great Glorious Master is going to be so pleased to ever hear this!" Thought Tabaqui.

Indeed One could say, even for such a creature as one among him and his like - be they jackals or hyenas like how he was born of the latter - Tabaqui was absolutely hideously wretched and ugly. He had a habit, like any other amongst a hyena, of letting completely out quite a distinct cackle - almost like some maniacal psychopathic human or else here so Mortal Man. Yet Tabaqui was not just despised whilst for his ugliness. See Tabaqui was wont by habit also even for any other among a hyena or a dhole also called a red dog or a jackal to tell a great many tales - most especially false tales - along with running about to make mischief of most undesirable kind ever so imaginable, and feed off of rags and pieces of leather among rubble all whilst from out of some village rubbish heaps. Yet Tabaqui was quite greatly feared, as well, because he, more so all than any other among a creature of The Jungles - all yet let alone The Wilds - was all but really rather quite apt to go mad. Whenever Tabaqui at all would thus do so, he would forget that he was ever afraid of anything or of anyone, he would run all around and about wherever he did and would do so and then after that he would bite anything and anyone and as well as everything and everyone who got in his way. Even Tigers would go run and hide from amongst all others aside from one to mention later on, all so whilst whenever Quite Ugly Little Tabaqui had ever went mad, for such madness as this kind still is, always was and thus so always will be from among the great many absolutely most disgraceful of things that can overtake any thus so here from amongst Jungle Creatures and just generally so, any among Wild Creatures. Whilst We Mortal Men - or else whilst in all other words Us Mortal Human Beings - refer to it as either hydrophobia or else rabies - all in dependence upon the nature of such a madness - they who were and are called The Creatures Of All The Jungles - and in general from over here thus so The Creatures Of All The Wilds - thus so indeed do call it "the dewanee" or else in turn "the madness" - and they would all just run for it.

Suddenly Tabaqui, whilst in the middle of his run, had ended up getting his left hind leg poked at and by something rather so quite sharp. It was a thorn from a thorn vine.

Thus Tabaqui stopped running for a moment and then looked behind him. Next Tabaqui, upon ending up as one who saw what it was what he just saw, then looked with quite the widened forms of his two dung like brown eyes. Then Tabaqui had howled within very great pain and ran faster than usual even whilst for him!

Painfully Tabaqui had howled so loud that even as he had run as fast as he did even for himself, his so painful howl had echoed throughout as much of all around him as it was ever capable of. Even A So Very Certain One whom he had been also known whilst for his habit of almost always going along with all to accompany thus here so, could hear it from within his own den that was located from near The Great Waingunga River that was twenty miles away from The Seonee Hills Residing Wolf Packs had lived. Soon Tabaqui had reached the den of his master, who was just in the middle of a brief relaxation being finished when he heard the howl.

"Whatsoever Tabaqui, did you just do to cause yourself to end up howling quite so loudly?!??!?" this one had demanded.
