Coming from District 1 had its own luxuries, literally. Genevieve - Gen - Ashwood, like many girls from the richest District in all of Panem, simply could not wait to volunteer for the Hunger Games once she's turned 18.
But here she finds herself, reaped at age 15, and with no volunteers this year. She was going to participate in the 74th Games, and she was not ready, mentally.
All she was now, was a shell of a beauty.
So I've been thinking about writing this for a while, and I'm stoked. English is, unfortunately, not my first language, but I am fairly confident in it, that's why I'm doing so. If there are any mistakes, feel free to tell me about it, I myself being an avid reader, I do enjoy when the writer keeps the mistakes to a minimum. Again, I hope you like this story.
