"Oh my gosh, Hussein this is beautiful." Gia said as Hussein led her outside of their private villa.
"I'm glad you like it." Hussein said as he helped her take a seat on the pillow.
"This has been the best birthday ever!" Gia exclaimed.
"Oh great, now I'm going to work twice as hard to top this birthday." Hussein said, smiling.
"Oh no, you don't. I will appreciate anything you plan for my birthday. Each birthday serves a different meaning." She said.
"I know but you must be starving, we haven't eaten since we got back from visiting your family." Hussein said.
"I would love something to eat." Gia said as Hussein signaled the waiter to come over with the food.
Once the waiter walked away, Gia and Hussein began to eat.
"So, Maya, then told Jeremey, she wasn't going to marry him unless he completed the boys trip with her father." Gia babbled excited, telling Hussein, her cosuin's latest drama.
Hussein watched, nodding every now and then, but his thoughts were on something completely different; the little red box in his pocket.
The night was going surprisingly well.
"Gia?" Hussein asked.
"Yes." She answered as she wiped her mouth with the napkin before looking at Hussein.
Hussein got up and walked over to Gia.
"What are you doing?" Gia asked, confused, and Hussein got down on one knee.
Gia froze and brought a hand up over her open mouth.
Hussein took a deep breath and began.
"Gia Antonia Alida Ghosheh," he began, taking hold of the Gia's free hand. "I love you with every bone in my body. I thank God for making you mine. I love your smile, your laugh, your personality; I love everything about you, everything that makes you. I want to wake up every morning and see you next to me, to come home every day and find you there, to have you in my life forever." He said.
Huss stopped talking and put a hand into his pocket and pulled out a little red box, and Gia's eyes widened even more. Hussein opened it to show a enormous pink oval-shaped diamond set on an 18K gold band, which he took out and held in trembling fingers.
"So, Gia," He said, looking up to meet her eyes. "Will you marry me?" He asked.
Gia nodded, still in shock, and Hussein slipped the ring on her finger. As soon as it was on, she took her hand away from her mouth and smiled.
Gia immediately pulled him forwards, pressing her lips against her fiancé's.
Hussein pulled Gia closer to him.
As soon as they broke apart, Hussein grinned, and Gia smiled too.
"You're going to be my husband." Gia said.
"And you're going to be my wife, my queen." Hussein said.
