Chapter 30

When we got out of the car, Y/N quickly pulled Zach into a hug and repeatedly apologized.

Z: So about that date?

Y/N: Of course I'll go but where

Z: It's a surprise but you'll have to go out when I prepare

Y/N: Fine can I stay downstairs with the boys?

Z: Of course, just don't come in until I call you up

They entered the house and Y/N stayed in the living room while Zach ran up to get ready. Zach was planning this date a few days ago so the boys knew about it.

-TIME SKIP TO 6.30PM-

-Y/N'S POV-

I had been sitting on the sofa with the boys for 2 hours now. I didn't know boys took so long to get ready

Z: Hey Y/N you can come up now, come to our room

Y/N: Ok.. please don't scare me

I stood up and walk upstairs and towards our room. From the top of the stairs I saw a trail of rose petals leading to our room so I followed it and opened the door. When I went in, I saw Zach in the suit he wore on our first date, standing in the center of a circle of rose petals with candles burning nearby. He gave me a warm smile before walking to me, extending his hand to invite me to the circle. He gently held me by my shoulders and said

Z: Ever since you came here, I've been so happy and I hope you would be mine now. This is a promise ring

He pulled out a ring box from his pocket and kneeled down as I covered my mouth

Z: to promise that our relationship shall never end and to promise no secrets from each other. Will you be my girlfriend?

Y/N: HELL YEAH OMG THANK YOU ZACH

He laughed and kissed my forehead while he put the ring on my finger. I looked at it then back at him, crying my eyes out before I hugged him.

Z: Now ready for our date, babe?

Y/N: Of course, let me go change

Z: Put on this dress that I bought and be ready by 6.50. I made dinner reservations at 7pm. I'll be waiting downstairs

I nodded and took the dress to the toilet and started getting ready.

Once Y/N was ready, she walked downstairs and looked at Zach who has by now looked up at her from his phone in shock.

Z: Wow.. You look so beautiful (no pun intended there)

Y/N: You don't look bad either

Z: Come on let's go. We're going to be late

Y/N nodded and held onto his hand before heading to the car.

Y/N: I just realized how much I'm already trusting you to drive me

Z: Hey I'm not that bad of a driver!
