Part One of Kisama

"A transferee? In December?"
Jimin shrugged. "I just overheard it from Mrs.James. I guess he came from Japan or something. They say he's some sort of delinquent."
"What do you mean?"
"They suspect he was expelled, judging by his mannerisms and his appearance."
Jungkook frowned. "Stereotyping much? That's stupid. That's what I hate the most."
"What?"
"Like that one time Sana got a perfect score in her exam. And we all know how she is, barely studies. But she really did this time. And they fucking questioned her and shit."

"They ask us to do better and they're surprised when we do."
Jimin raised his eyebrows. "Jeesh. You'd don't have to bring it to court, Kook."
"Still, Jimin. Sana is such a nice girl. She's just,..."
"In La La Land all the time."
"Sure."

The two walked to their Chemistry class, one they took with Mrs.James. They sat at their seats which were right next to eachother, and waited for class to start.

"Everyone, this is Kim Taehyung. A student from Japan who will be studying with us for the next two quarters. Introduce yourself."

This Taehyung guy was a lanky and small dude. His eyes wore eyeliner like glasses, his black hair contrasted with his pale skin and green eyes. He wore a short leather jacket and striped pants. Even from afar, Jungkook could see the black paint on his fingernails.

"I'm Kim Taehyung. I'm 17. Uzēndayo, kisama."
"What did you say?"
Taehyung turned to the professor and gave her a tight lipped smile. "I hope to have a great time with you all."
Jungkook snickered. Mina and Sana were giggling to themselves as Taehyung winked at the two.

"Take a seat and we'll start with Compound Naming."
Everyone groaned as Taehyung took a seat at the back and pulled out a nail file, hoping to shorten his nails along with time.

When the bell rang, Mrs.James stood by the door and handed everyone a packet for their homework.

"He's weird."
"Who is?"
"Taemin."
"It's Taehyung."
"Well then, Taehyung is weird."
Jungkook took a seat at an empty lunch table. "Why do you say so?"
"I don't know. He seems fake."
"You barely know him."
"I usually have good judgment when it comes to people."
"Whatever. Go get me food."
Jimin scowled at his dongsaeng but nonetheless, went in line.

Jungkook started the homework, wanting to finish a video game he recently got when he got home.

His mind went blank as he remembered that he didn't pay attention to the lesson.
"Fuck." He muttered to himself. He sighed as he pushed her packet away, planning to just copy off of Jimin tomorrow morning even though Chemistry is their first period.

He looked up from his forgotten homework and saw Taehyung leaving the lunchline with nothing but an apple and lemonade, then heading straight out.

"Weird."

Jungkook sighed, bored. Why was Chemistry so boring? When will they get to all the chemical mixing, explosions and mishaps and then suspension because the school burned down.

"Kim Taehyung! Since you look so interested in your nails and you don't bother to pay attention, mind naming this hydrocarbon compound?"
Taehyung looked up and smiled, thought it seemed insincere.
"3,4-Diethylheptane."
"Are you sure?"
"Very." Taehyung replied as he smiled before letting it drop and focusing on his nails.

Mrs.James bit the inside of her cheek before continuing class.

Never did he thought he would be here. At this moment. Breathing this air.

Jungkook was currently at the school library. Even the air in here tAsTeD different. And like every other library, the librarian was a bitch.

Well, anygays. Jungkook was looking for a book to write an essay about for his literature class. Since the only paged hard copies he had at his house were comics, and he hated e-books, he figured to go pay the library a visit.

He never expected to be here. But he also didn't expect Taehyung to be here.

The boy sat in a corner table, out of view. Jungkook only noticed him when he was at the end of the aisle.

He had his feet propped up on the table, a bubble from his gum forming before popping.
He was reading,....

"What the hell?" ........Sailor Moon...
This seems to have disturbed the transferee as he averted his attention to Jungkook.
"I'm sorry. I was just,— don't mind me."
"Are you surprised to see me here?"
"What? No! I just.... saw a spider."

Taehyung's eyes went big, like a cat, he jumped on the table with one swift motion, oddly silent.
"Really? Where?" Fright evident in his voice as he scanned the floors.

'Fuck me. That was cute.'

"I-it's gone now. It went to the Art section. Good thing no one goes there."
"I like the Art aisle." Taheyung replied softly as he slowly climbed down and stood in front of Jungkook.
"I'm sorry for scaring you...and disturbing you."
Taehyung nodded as he sat down on his chair.

"What are you doing here anyways?" Taehyung asked after the long silence.
"Looking for a book for,—"
"The lit essay?"
"Yea."
"Wanna know a trick?" Taehyung asked with a mischievous smile.
"It's due tomorrow, so yea. I'm desperate."

Taehyung patted the seat next to him and pulled out his laptop.
"Hmm. Do you excel in academics?"
"I'm average, I guess?"
"Okay. We will go with a common book. Or, how about Lolita?"
Jungkook's eyes widened. "Mrs.Kang will think I'm a perverted pedophile."
Taehyung giggled as he looked back on the screen and typed out a book essay for The Secret Garden by F.H. Burnett.

"So you take the essay and google translate the shit out of it. Make it go through shit like French, Spanish, Swedish. Whatever, just do a lot then go back to English. Then proofread, all the translating will chamge a lot of phrases or sentences. Either lengthen or shorten them."

"That's smart. I never thought of it before. Thanks."
"No problem. Just a few cheats to get through high school."
"You don't look like you need cheats though."
Taehyung looked up at him, confused.
"What do you mean?"
"You look and sound smart."
Taehyung laughed. Maybe a little too loud.

"So the expelled transferee is smart? Thats new."
"Smart is good. Is that somehow an insult to you?"
"No. Not at all. Was just surprised."
Taehyung then looked back at his laptop and saved the document of Jungkook's essay.
"I'll send you the link."
Taehyung stuffed his laptop in his bag and headed it of the library.

"You dont know my email though....."
