I knew tarot from my mom and how to ask deities for help but Maitreyi's rituals and spirits were... Off.
She has shown me a strange arrow that she claimed she's been keeping it from the bad world to not unleash more evil than there was. I asked her to tell me everything as to document it.
These things offer people what is known as a "stand". They represent an energy of one's soul from their descendants, and usually are meant to obey the master.
She told me these things could do both harm and save people, depending on the desire of the user and their subconscious mind.
But unfortunately there was something more awful laying behind these.
She continued finding out about the Antares and how he was connected to DIO in a way in her opinion.
The last untouched entry was this:
15/11/1995
We sent Felicia to a school in another state and told her not to return. I've given her the knowledge of tarot and of stands. We have found out that she would die an awful death by the one she will love the most if she will have the arrow, as she wanted to offer her life to take care of it
Both I and Jean decided that it was for the best to take the arrow for myself. Maitreyi told us about the effects the arrow had.
I said that I'd willingly give up my life to protect my family, but it wasn't what I intended. Instead, I had to hide from Felicia forever, to tell her that I'm gone and just hide. And that night I didn't only lost my child, but my husband as well.
Maitreyi killed her husband as well, for the same reason, and she's been pregnant with the child ever since. Her body wouldn't grow or change, neither allow her to give life.
At least that's what she told me.
The ritual went quite easily, but forever scarring, as I took the arrow and stabbed my lover as I kissed him. We both cried, while I had to kill him with a knife in his heart.
Then I had to bathe the arrow in his blood. I could feel the soft wrinkles on my skin going away, as my body became younger. I arranged the flight for her, to never see her again.
17/11/1995
I tried to kill myself and burn the arrow, neither worked. She told me that as long as the arrow hadn't been used on a person who could gain a stand, I couldn't die... Unless a stand would kill me. Ever since I saw a different world. Children being pushed by their "imaginary friends" on swings.
It is rather sad to see the children, and smile, knowing that I just abandoned mine.
If I could turn back time, I'd never have done that... I only hope that one day I'll be able to apologize to my baby and to Jean.
A small teardrop felt on the book.
"You cannot run, you cannot hide, destiny will be close behind you." She wiped her tears and suddenly the phone rang. "What's going on?"
Fox: So, as you know, I'll go to the prom with Leo. But you guys?
I... Never thought about it. JoJo, Tenmei?:You
Dumb Artist: I.... Uh... JoJo?
Edgyotaro: Nada here too.
F: Why don't y'all go together. After all, you're the "stand user team"
DA: Huh, you're right. (Name)? JoJo?
E: I'm okay with that

F: Then it's all set.
Sylvia, one thing. Stay as far from us as possible. In case DIO shows up, I don't want him to hurt you. :You
DA: She's right. We cannot afford to lose innocent people.
E: We'll try to go outside, as I've heard it won't be held in the school's ground, but rather in a restaurant, near the ocean.

DA: Well... That's basically why I've lost in from of him.
Alright then. We still have 5 days before that, we'll need a plan. Tomorrow after school, come to my place, boys. We cannot count on Polnareff. So we need a plan. :You

DA: Perfect.
F: I will try my best not to bother the three of you. And in case things go south, I'll try my best to keep everyone away from you during a battle if it is to happen.

E: Idea. Tuesday come at my place and try to see how our stands fight, for that afterwards we can find ways to better defeat Dio. Okay?
