It was finally time for the Ever After High Christmas party- some dressed in Christmas sweaters, some dressed fancy, and some just dressed in normal hoodies and sweats.  Some sat by the fireplace drinking hot cocoa, some pulled the mistletoe trick on their crushes- and some just sat at the snack table devouring everything-

For some, Christmas was a romantic time, for some- Christmas was a time for family, and some- well some didn't even like Christmas. Take Genesis Grinch for example.

In many ways- she was both similar, and completely different than her father. She had inherited his color scheme, and his original hatred of Christmas. Most assumed she was the granddaughter of the Grinch- but she wasn't. She was one of the few students who wasn't part of the third known generation of fairy tales. She had been held back a couple times- so she was a little older than the others, but not by much. But continuing on with her father, she didn't look much like her father either. She had green hair, but genetically- similarities between them ended there. Her mother was unknown to everyone except the original Grinch himself. Unlike the Grinch, she prided herself on the clothes she wore, she didn't exactly like Christmas- but she still wanted to make sure she was dressed as festively as possible. She was relatively nice- unless she was talking to Samantha Claus- that wasn't going to end well.

She knew that she would have to grow into loving Christmas eventually- but it wasn't all that fun knowing she couldn't enjoy Christmas for years. That was- unless she decided to rebel, but she wanted to keep her father's legacy alive. He had no other children, no one else would be willing to give up their Christmas to take on her destiny- and she didn't know what she wanted to do anyway, so she figured- why not just accept it?

Unfortunately for her- it just so happened that her roommate was none other than Samantha Claus- ironic isn't it?

Anyway- her roommate was blasting Christmas music even more than she usually did, and she'd decorated the entire dorm. She'd sing Christmas carols even when it wasn't Christmas- she'd dressed as a Christmas tree for Halloween, and she'd even just randomly wrap empty boxes for the fun of it. Figures Headmaster Grimm would decide to pair the biggest Christmas enthusiast, and someone who was destined to despise Christmas- and force them to live together for an entire year.  You know what was worse about it?
