The Ugly Truth

THIRD PERSON POV:

As the day light began to shed away and the night sprung to life, the four dolls, who had been brought to their abandoned home under a trap, huddled together in Kitty's living room. They shuddered together in fear like a family of mice hiding away from a blood thirsty cat. Then he finally spoke.

TUESDAY's POV:

"We can't sit in this oddly pretty room forever. Girls, you know Lou a lot better than I do. Is there anything we can use against him?" Nolan whimpered. I smiled. I knew a lot about Lou, more than anyone. I may come across as dumb, but I was the first girl fresh out of the machine to form the group.
"I know a lot about Lou actually." I lifted my chin up proudly. They all suddenly turned their heads towards me expecting more. "His favourite colours are green and blue, his favourite food is anything sweet really, err.. he hates ugly things, he has OCD which explains his whole moody side against ugly and imperfect things I guess and he has a crush on no-" Kitty clamped her hand over my mouth.
"Yeah, yeah. We've heard enough. Don't tell us his whole life story. I don't think we want you crying over how his crush isn't you." Kitty rolled her eyes and folded her arms. Nolan seemed to be intrigued with what I was saying. I think I caught on quickly. Lou may be an ass, but he's hot, sooo...
"I was just going to say that he doesn't have a crush on anyone, Kit Kat. Besides, if we do him these favours, he'll love me for sure!" I rubbed my hands and giggled at the thought of me and Lou together.
"Uh huh. Sure. Doing his psychotic jobs will help his crazy ass to love you. Are you sure you didn't hit your head coming down here?" Lydia sarcastically asked.
"I'm sure I didn't hit my head, mouse brain. I'm sure if we talk with Lou, he'll let us go." I stood up and placed my hands on my hips proud at my idea. The rest of the group did the same judgemental glance I always did and shook their heads. "Well, fine! I'll just go on my own and convince him to let us go. If I don't come back, don't look for me, save yourselves." I walked towards the door and dramatically whispered the last bit, slowly bringing my hand up by my face. I closed my eyes and let a tear drop. Behind me, I heard something rustling. Out of instinct, I jumped around and threw my hands into a gun and saw the rest of the group playing cards. "You're just going to let me go? No questions asked?" I asked, secretly a bit offended.
"Yeah, you're free to go. No questions asked." Kitty responded blankly. I stared for a few seconds. I turned around for the door and yanked it open allowing the cold air to hit their skin. I exited the house and slowly closed the door behind me. I knew the exact route to Lou's house, I stalked him enough to know each and every stone he stepped on. I followed the stones that lead out of the small neighbourhood and out into the large, open area where the crowds used to hang about. It was strange to be able to hear my own foot steps echoing and not the voices of a thousand similar dolls. My feet ached from walking so far with no one to converse with. I had already made it past the stage where Lou had performed not too long ago and I could see the hedges of his mansion in the horizon. Once I made it to the door, I rang the door bell. I waited outside in the front garden of Lou's home and let the chilly air pierce my skin. I heard the bolts and locks on the doors being turned and removed and eventually, the door opened. He looked surprised.

LOU's POV:

I was surprised. When I saw Tuesday standing there, I couldn't help but actually feel bad for her.
"Tuesday? I wasn't expecting anyone until Dawn." I stretched forwards and looked around for the others. "Uhh.. where's the rest of your flock, huh?"
"They let me go alone. They decided playing cards in the warmth was more important than making sure I was safe walking up here in the dark." The girl with short, baby blue hair rubbed her arm and she allowed the crystal liquid that formed in her eyes to roll down. I felt a pang of pity for her and allowed her to stay inside to warm up.
"So, why did you come here anyway, Tuesday? (And how did you find my house?..)" I asked pouring some hot water into a cup.
"I came to tell you that you need to let us go. A relationship is a two sided thing. You can't expect me to love you back if you treat me and my friends like a prisoner." She brought her knees up to her chest and wrapped her arms around herself. I almost dropped the cups of coffee I had in my hands when she said 'love me back.' I began to walk over and placed her drink on the coffee table in front of her.
"Erm.. this is awkward. You know I don't have romantic feelings towards anyone. You are an ideal partner, I can give you that but I always thought you had feelings for one of the other girls. Mainly Kitty, but it could be anyone really." The shocked look on her face almost sent a shiver down my spine.
"You can't tell anyone this.." She paused. "You're right. I never expected anyone to find out. I do have feelings for you, there's no doubt in my mind about that but the other girls have always been there for me even if Kitty is a bit snobby or Lydia is a bit rude." She looked down at her coffee and slightly smiled, letting another tear fall into her skirt. I smiled gently back at her trying to hide my wicked smile beneath it. I finally had something against her. Now she had no choice but to do as I say. I had to blackmail her.
"Ahem.. Tuesday, you know. That's too bad.." I took a sip of my coffee and gave her a side glance. "I don't understand why you keep falling for my acts, but now you have a reason to do the work."
"What do you mean?!" Tuesday seemed to tense up. Other than the clock ticking, I could hear her heart beating. I laughed at her and grabbed her chin.
"I mean, if you don't do what I say, I'll tell your little group and the whole of Imperfection about your little secret. What will you do then? You may live in an accepting place where they allow you to live in peace no matter how you look but they will never let you live down the fact that you and your stupid little orientation sways both ways." I pulled her forwards and leant in. Her warm, hitching breath landed on my lips as I licked them. The fear in her eyes only made me want to mess with her further. For the first time in a few days, I felt like I was in control. All the attention was on me. The tension in the room was thick and I think Tuesday noticed it too. She froze in her place and refused to move which gave me an advantage. I let go of her chin and smirked.
"Don't mess with me or my plans again or I'll mess with you further, now.. that wouldn't be a pretty sight to see would it, Tuesday?" As I shuffled away from her, I gave her another sideways glance and noticed her face was dark red. "Now, you might want to head on home now, I bet they're looking for a fourth player." Without saying a word, she stood up and headed for the door placing her hand on the handle. She quickly twisted it and swung the door open.
"Oh, and Lou." She paused and turned her head over her shoulder.
"Hm?"
"Your stupid mind games won't work on me anymore. I know better now." She took her first step outside and was pulled back. I leant her backwards and placed my hand around her waist.
"Do you now?" I purred into her ear.
"What?" She growled. I half closed my eyes and gave her a look I know she will never forget.
"Know better, Tuesday." I swirled her around and shoved her out of my garden. "Bi Bi, silly girl." I waved and slammed the door behind me.
