Saying goodbye to Hermione's parents was difficult. She knew she wouldn't see them until she was getting married, which terrified her. She had also just got them back and didn't want them to leave, although they would be moving back to Oxford so they could be closer.
Hermione's parents left on Boxing Day, which gave Hermione and Draco time to get ready for their skiing trip at St.Moritz tomorrow.

"Alright. So I conjured us a Television, and I went and got some VHS of the 1992 Winter Olympics. We've got a full day ahead of us." Hermione smiles

"How mad will you be if I just...take a nap during this?" He asks

"You're staying awake the entire time. I will not have you complaining while we are at St.Moritz. And I don't want you confused either. So deal with it. You are going to like it." She says in a very final tone.

Draco raises his hands up in surrender as Hermione walks over to the television, pulls out a random night of the skiing events she had found, and sticks it in the slot in the box.

For the rest of the day they sit on the couch and watched sporting event after sporting event so Draco could hopefully understand skiing better.

"All right. So I hope that helped you to understand what skiing is and hopefully even help you to be more confident before we put the skis on. It's difficult to teach someone to ski if they're scared. I'm hoping it will be able to teach you now since you know what it is. We should probably head to bed so we can be up bright and early tomorrow! What did you think of the sport?" Hermione asks Draco excitedly

"It was...interesting? The one where they go down a big hill and then fly through the air was so goofy. It was like they were trying to fly. I'm definitely excited to try it, skiing down the mountain seems pretty fun." He tells her, yawning

"Ski Jumping is meant for professionals only. I'm not quite sure we would ever be able to do that. It takes a lot of core strength though. I'm hoping you pick up normal downhill skiing easily." She explains, getting up to turn the television off so they could head up to bed.

"It still looked weird. I'm sure I'll be great at it."

Hermione set her alarm for six in the morning so they could get ready and spend the entire day in St.Moritz. No telling how long it would take to teach Draco how to ski and to get him off of the Bunny Hill. She was determined to try and get Draco to at least a medium slope and hopefully, she would be able to attempt a difficult slope, but it had been years since she had skied. She hoped it would be like riding a bike. She hoped this could start a new tradition between the two of them. Maybe they could even take their kids skiing someday.

"Draco. Get up, we need to get ready if we're gonna have enough time to teach you how to ski decently!"

Grumbling, Draco climbs out of bed and pulls on the ski pants and ski jacket that Hermione had bought for him a few days ago after he mentioned they should go skiing.

They weren't even married yet and she was already picking out his clothes...

"So, when we get there. First, we'll need to buy lift tickets and rent ski equipment and then we can head up onto the mountain. If you end up liking it we can buy our own equipment for the next time we go...then we have to stop to get lunch and dinner. So we'll have to work around all that...then, of course, we have to wait in the queue lines for the lift. Hopefully, that won't take too long but since it's around the holidays there's no telling." Hermione rambles on

"So, we have to wait in lines to get on these lifts...that we paid for?" He asks annoyed

"Yes, Draco. There will be other people there. We have to be courteous to the other people who also paid. It shouldn't take too long. And we'll probably spend a good while at the easy slopes so I can teach you." She smiles, walks out of their bathroom, and gives him a kiss on the cheek
