Chapter XIV - Vacation

3rd PERSON's POV

"Momo, I want you to find the traitor who leaked our plan." Sana said coldly, "Yes Ma'am!" Momo bowed and then left.

"Jeong.." Momo mumbled while walking in the hallway, Momo approached a door with the letter J, Momo went inside and saw the older sitting down.

"Jeong, Did you do it?" Momo asked, "Sorry..." The girl named Jeong said, "She's still my childhood bestfriend and I don't want her to get hurt.." The girl named Jeong added, "Be thankful I care for you or else I would have told the boss." Momo said while crossing her arms.

"I heard in the news, Someone saved her life.." Jeong said, "It was a girl wearing a mask, I wasn't able to see her face because I was escaping." Momo replied, "Thank god you weren't hurt." Jeong said.

"Jeongyeon, Don't do this again.. I don't want you to get caught.." Momo said while looking at the older girl, "You know how harsh Sana do her things.. after her father died.." Momo added, "I'll try not to.." Jeongyeon replied.

"I'll go now, I'll find a way to cover you up, So please.. Don't do it again.." Momo said as she stand up and leave.

"Dahyun, You're going to be discharged today." Jihyo said to the younger, "Finally!" Dahyun shouted as she gets up.

"How's Nayeon?" Dahyun asked Jihyo, "She's resting, She won't be attending any schedule until she recover." Jihyo said, "She's going to be with her family." Jihyo added.

"Who's Kim.. Sana?" Jihyo asked with a serious face, Dahyun's eyes widened after hearing the name, "Sh- She's a friend of mine." Dahyun answered, "Is that so.." Jihyo said while looking at the younger.

"Do I really need to wear this cast..?" Dahyun asked while glancing at her shoulder, "Yes, You'll be wearing it until your injury heals." Jihyo said, "For about 4 days I guess." She added and Dahyun sighed.

"Where are Mina and Chaeyoung?" Dahyun asked while looking at the older, "They're doing something.. They'll be back soon." Jihyo answered while looking at her phone.

"Dahyun, Are you hiding something?" Jihyo asked while looking at the younger, "N- No." Dahyun tried to answer calmly, Jihyo knew Dahyun is lying but she ignored it.

"Boss, I found the traitor." Momo said while looking at Sana who's sitting her chair with a glass of wine in her right hand, "Where is the traitor?" Sana asked while staring at Momo, "I killed him." Momo answered, "He tried escaping so I didn't have a choice but to end his life." Momo added.

"Good." Sana said as she drinks the expensive wine (oof), "You're dismissed." Sana added, Momo immediately bowed and left.

"We're back!" Chaeyoung shouted as she enters Dahyun's room, "Oh.. You're ready." Chaeyoung said as she looks at Dahyun who's wearing a white sweater, "The van is ready." Mina said and Jihyo nodded.

Chaeyoung approached Dahyun and helped her, "Can you walk properly?" Chaeyoung asked while helping Dahyun, "Of course, my left shoulder is the one that got injured not my legs." Dahyun said and chuckled.

They entered the van and Chaeyoung sat beside Dahyun and Jihyo and Mina is in the back sitting beside each other.

The driver drove to where the younger three's apartment is, "You should sleep in the apartment today.." Mina said to Jihyo who's beside her, "Sure, My luggage is there.. so it's fine.." Jihyo said.

"Luggage?" Dahyun asked, "We are going to Hawaii for a week vacation." Chaeyoung answered and smiled, "It's expensive there.." Dahyun said, "JYPE will pay for all of our expenses as way to pay you back since you got injured while saving Nayeon-unnie." Chaeyoung said.

"The higher ups allowed us to go on vacation?" Dahyun asked again, "They agreed because they also want us to rest." Jihyo said while looking outside.

The four of them arrived in the apartment and Dahyun unlocked the door, "Why must I unlock the door when Chaeyoung can also do it.." Dahyun said while unlocking the door, "I'm the injured one, Hello.." Dahyun added and Chaeyoung just chuckled.

They entered the apartment and the first thing Dahyun saw is two big luggages, "Jihyo..." Dahyun said as she avert her gaze to Jihyo, "It's a week vacation.." Jihyo answered while avoiding Dahyun's gaze.

"What time is our flight?" Dahyun asked the three, "Early in the morning." Mina answered, "Okay.." Dahyun said and then she went to her room.

"I'll go prepare my things.." Chaeyoung said and then she went to her room which is beside Dahyun's room.

"Jihyo, You can use the room you used before which is beside my room." Mina said and smiled, "Thank Minari." Jihyo said as she approaches her luggage, "I'll put this inside." She added as she drags her luggages to her room.

"I should go and prepare my things.." Mina mumbled as she approach her room's door.

DAHYUN's POV

"She's still wearing it.." I mumbled as I look at my ring, "That was the first time I see her cry.. After how many years..." I mumbled again as I remember what happened yesterday.

"She'll kill me when she knows that I'm one of the people who helped in catching her father.." I mumbled and smiled sadly.

"It would be nice to have a vacation in Hawaii together with her.." I said to myself as I look at our picture together.

I laid down in my bed, I stared at the ceiling. "I've sworn to protect the citizens of the country.. But I'm protecting Sana who's doing bad things by not reporting her..." I mumbled and sighed.

"Dahyun.. Pabo.." I said to myself as I lightly hit my chest, "I should prepare my things.." I said as I get up, I dragged my empty luggage and placed down in my bed.

"This sucks.." I said as I avert my gaze from my empty luggage to my injured shoulder.

3rd PERSON's POV

"I'm going to find that person who killed you, Father." Sana said while looking at her Father's picture, "And the people associated with her!" Sana added as she grabs the glass of wine.

TIMESKIP | Next day, early in the morning.

"Bro, Wake up." Chaeyoung said and Dahyun slowly opened her eyes, "5 more mins.." Dahyun said as she close it again, "We have a flight to catch." Chaeyoung said while lightly slapping Dahyun's face, "Ugh.." Dahyun said as she rubs her eyes.

"I'll go get ready.. Wait outside.." Dahyun said as she slowly get up, Chaeyoung smiled and left.

They grabbed their luggages and went outside, "The van will be here anytime soon." Jihyo said while looking at her watch, "And... It's here." Chaeyoung said as she looks at the black van that is approaching them.

They put their luggages at the back of the van and Jihyo helped Dahyun with hers.

The driver drove to the airport and when they arrived he helped them with their luggages.

"Thank you, Sir." Jihyo said and bowed, "No problem, Have a safe flight." He replied and bowed the driver bid goodbye and left.

"Was that driver from JYPE?" Chaeyoung asked and Jihyo nodded, they went inside the airport.

"This is going to be my first trip with you guys." Dahyun said as she looks at her friends and smiled, "Let's get going." Mina said as she holds Dahyun's luggage, "I can do it, Minari.." Dahyun said, "It's fine.." Mina said and smiled.
