It was like every other few weeks, dazai would go off on missions and be gone of days week or sometimes months. He is a mafia executive, but dazai didn't come back at all.

- 6 months after dazai left-

" Chuuya how are you? " Tachihara asked looking at chuuya who was staring at his work
" I'm fine " Chuuya says
But he looked so lost, and he's been quite mostly the past 6 months.
" Is it bec- " Tachihara couldn't finish his sentence
" why do you guys always think it's about dazai who gives a fuck about dazai it doesn't matter anymore he's not here so just shut up about him already god! " Chuuya shouted not loud but a little
Tachihara looked at chuuya with soft eyes

he knew chuuya was hurting, after all dazai and chuuya had this type if friendship that you wish you'd have. Sure they said mean things to one another, but they didn't mean them. Dazai was their for chuuya when he had nightmares because of corruption, and when he was having his panic about trust and not wanting to hurt anyone he cared about.

Chuuya was their for dazai, when he would cut himself till his arms were numb. Telling him that it's never his fault, always being their when dazai needed up wrapping himself up in his bandages. There when dazai needed someone to stop him, when he was going to far when dazai tried his many attempts to suicide.

When he to had his dark nightmares
" Chuuya how about we go out for some drinks I'll even pay for your wine " Tachihara says
Chuuya looks away he knows, tachihara just wants to make sure he's okay and that he cares about chuuya.
" No it's okay I'll pay for myself don't worry about it " Chuuya said
Smiled at tachihara who smiled back
It was fake but no one had to know that, no one had to know chuuya was hurting feelings that pain of betrayal once again.

Just like what the sheep did to chuuya dazai abandoned him
" Okay see you after work then? " Tachihara asked
" Yeah " Chuuya says and goes back to work
Tachihara went to finish his work as well

- 12 months after dazai left -

Chuuya was forgetting about it, forgetting about dazai who he still thought about often but not as much.
" Chuuya don't you have a mission? " Kouyou asked
Chuuya sighed and let his head fall on the desk, only kouyou saw chuuya like this after all she was like a mother to him always caring always there.
" Why? " Chuuya asked
His voice almost broken kouyou's eyes went soft
" Oh chuuya my precious boy dazai isn't important anymore okay " Kouyou said
Chuuya looked at her with watery eyes
" Your right he's not important.
Anymore " Chuuya said

He wiped the tears from his eyes
" I have a mission to go to see you after okay " Chuuya said
Kouyou smiled
" Be careful " Kouyou says
Chuuya smiles at her
" I'm always safe " Chuuya said and left the room to go off on his mission

- 18 months after dazai left -

" chuuya don't you need a break your always working " Mori said
Looking at chuuya how sat in front of him
" I'm fine " Chuuya said
Mori smiled like he always would
" You seem to say that more now then before dazai left you know " Mori States
Chuuya looks away
" Who cares I know I don't " Chuuya says

Mori hums
" Ever think about what he could be doing? " Mori asked
Chuuya looked at him confused
" Maybe he went off with an enemy maybe he's in the hospital maybe he's dead " Mori Says
" Finally succeeding at suicide what do you think he ended with cut wrist or maybe drowning how about jumping off a cliff what do you think chuuya? " Mori asked
A smirk on his face as, chuuya is lost in his head with all the images of dazai's dead body.
