Both 6 years old
Both in kindergarten
Both love ice cream
" Come on chuuya hurry up! " Dazai shouted
As oda dazai's adopted father, and
kouyou chuuya's mother walked head of them.
Chuuya looked at dazai
" My legs hurt! " Chuuya shouted
Dazai went over to chuuya and grabbed, his hand pulling chuuya so they wouldn't be left behind.

As their parents walked ahead
" Wait for us! " Dazai called out
Oda and kouyou stopped, walking and looked back at them dazai running well dragging chuuya with him. Finally stopped panting
" Give...Me... A.. Second " Dazai panted out
Chuuya looked at dazai and pushed him, forward dazai stopped himself from falling and looked back at chuuya.
" What was that for? " Dazai asked
Chuuya point dazai looked in front of him

Saw the ice cream stop
" Oh come on ice cream! " Dazai shouted
Opening the door, and walking in chuuya followed and so did kouyou and oda. Chuuya and dazai walked up to, the counter and looked at the ice cream behind them oda and kouyou talked.
" Dazai's a sweetheart " Kouyou said
" He's helped chuuya so much these past few months " Kouyou added
" How chuuya doing by the way? " Oda asked
" The doctor said he's doing a lot better but we shouldn't over do anything " Kouyou says
Well she looks at chuuya

Who was laughing with dazai, as they made jokes still deciding what ice cream flavor they wanted.
" CHUUYA LET'S GET MARRIED! " dazai yelled
Chuuya jumped from dazai yelling and looked at dazai
" We can't get married dazai we're 6 you have to wait till we are older! " Chuuya scolded
Dazai who pouted the parents at the ice cream shop laughed, and the other kids were confused well expected the ones who knew what marriage was.
" Odasaku  chuuya doesn't want to marry me! " Dazai pouted
Oda chuckled and kneeled down
" Chuuya said you have to wait till both of you are older " Oda said
Dazai looked at chuuya

Who was looking at the ice cream
" Oooo can I have a big ice cream bowl with all the ice cream flavors? " Chuuya asked
Turning to kouyou
" That's to much sweets for you love " Kouyou said

Chuuya frowned
" Can I just have a smoothie then " Chuuya said sadly
Kouyou looked down sadness covered her eyes
" How about you have a small ice cream bowl with only two flavors okay love " Kouyou said
Smiling at chuuya
" Mhm " Chuuya said happy
" Can I have a small Bowl of chocolate ice cream? " Dazai asked
Oda nodded

Dazai looked at chuuya and pulled, him to a table with only two seats.
" What about my mom and your dad? " Chuuya asked
Dazai looked at chuuya after sitting down
" They can get their own table your my husband now " Dazai said
Chuuya sat down
" I'm not your husband im 6 and I love my mommy! " Chuuya said
Dazai smiled
" But you love me too " Dazai said
" Yeah because your my best friend " Chuuya said
As if it was obvious which, it was kouyou and oda gave them their ice creams.

Sat down at a table close to them
And eat theirs
" Chuuya loves me " Dazai said happily
" Shut up and eat your ice cream " Chuuya said
Dazai laughed and they ate their ice cream
And soon left the ice cream shop,
A few days go by and chuuya wasn't at school.

After another school day ended dazai ran over to oda
" Odasaku chuuya still hasn't come to school " Dazai said
" Chuuya's in the hospital " Oda said
Dazai's face covered in worry
" Why is chuuya In the hospital? " Dazai asked
Oda helped dazai get into the car
" Chuuya's sick right now " Oda said
Shutting dazai's door side and hopping into the car and starting it
" But he was okay a few days ago " Dazai said
" How about we go see him I'm sure he'd like that " Oda said
" Hurry chuuya needs me odasaku " Dazai rushed

Getting to the hospital quickly, getting out and helping dazai out dazai ran into the hospital.
" Chuuya! " Dazai shouted
Oda ran over to him
" Hey we gotta wait " Oda said
They sat in the waiting room for an hour, before kouyou came out and motioned them to come to her they did.
" Dazai you sure you wanna see chuuya right now? " Kouyou asked
" Let me see chuuya please " Dazai said
Kouyou nodded walking them to chuuya's room, opening the door dazai walked in he hated what he saw.

Chuuya hooked to a bunch of machines
" What's wrong with chuuya? " Dazai asked
" Well chuuya's sick really sick right now you see his heart isn't really healthy right now so the doctors have to help him with his heart " Kouyou said
Dazai looked at chuuya going  to the side of the hospital bed where chuuya slept soundless.

It didn't fit chuuya being, quiet not yelling or shouting at dazai to stop doing something or to do something.
" Chuuya you gotta wake up " Dazai said
Kouyou covered her face as tears swelled up in her eyes
Oda hugged her
" Chuuya " Dazai said Confused
Dazai shook chuuya
" Chuu you gotta wake up so we could talk " Dazai said
And then the heart monitor went into a straight line

BEEP
BEEP
BEEP
BEEP
BEEP

" Oh god " Kouyou broke down
" Chuuya wake up! " Dazai shouted
Kouyou pulled away from the hug, oda was giving her and went over to dazai with tears In her eyes.
" Hey dazai sweetie chuuya's sleeping " Kouyou said
" Why are you crying? " dazai asked
Oda went over to dazai
" Come on we gotta go " oda said
Doctors entered the room
" Ma'am sir you gotta leave " The nurse said
Kouyou and oda started walking out

With dazai pulling him out
" Wait no chuuya he's gonna wake up! " Dazai shouted
" The doctors are helping chuuya right now " Oda said
" NO CHUUYA NEEDS ME ODA HE NEEDS ME " dazai yelled
Kouyou sat down crying, dazai's eyes started filling with tears.
" Chuuya needs me odasaku " Dazai cried out
" I'm Sorry I'm so sorry " Oda said
Pulling dazai into a hug

" Today we are here to saw goodbye to a sweet boy chuuya he was kind " The pastor said
Dazai was now in front of the coffin that held chuuya
" Chuuya you have to wake up now everyone is trying to put you in the ground " Dazai said
People were hit with more sadness as dazai tried waking chuuya up
" Please chuuya..... We were supposed to get married " Dazai said

Kouyou covered her mouth oda patted dazai's back
" Come on we have to sit back down now " Oda said
" No chuuya isn't awake yet " Dazai said
Oda looked at dazai with sorrow in his eyes
" He's not going to wake up " Oda said
Dazai was hit with confusion

What do you expect from a 6 year old, attending his best friends funeral but as the years went by dazai still waited for chuuya to wake up he didn't know.

" CHUUYA LET GET MARRIED! "

" We can't get married dazai we're 6 you have to wait till we get older! "

Dazai stood in front of chuuya's grave
" We're older now chuuya 16 years old come back " Dazai fell to his knees
" I'm still waiting! " Dazai shouted
As tears fell

Heart broken he was
" You said chuuya remember please chuuya come back chuuya please " Dazai cried out
But chuuya never responded
" Your still just sleeping right that's why your not back yet "
Dazai placed flowers down
" Maybe next time you'll be awake "
