𝙿𝙴𝚁𝚂𝙾𝙽𝙰𝙸𝙻𝚃𝚈: William is a very kind and sweet young man, which is quite suprising given how royalty aren't normally the kindest people in the lands. He generally cares about his people and kingdom, and wants to make genuine and efficient changes to help the lives of his subjects. He can be seen as quite charming, and while he certainly does gives off the vibe, and manages to have some charm here and there, yet if you're talking to him more than a few minutes, he will slowly become more and more awkward, he doesn't actually know to how to keep a conversation running with people he doesn't know, especially with people who aren't other nobles. He can be slightly defensive when talking to people he doesn't know, more so with witches. William is a very cautious prince, he certainly doesn't rush Off into danger and always tries to think ahead before doing something risky. He would honestly loose his mind if he just ran into a war with nothing planned. He can get a bit panicky and anxious when he doesn't know the future, and can start to get flustered and begin rambling odd and strange things. He doesn't exactly enjoy taking risks and will most likely try to avoid them. However even though he has a quite calm and cautious nature, he tends to be impulsive when it comes to decisions that happen right there and then, when it comes to people or innocents he will quickly state his opinion without a second thought, and then of course freak out about his decision later on. He's very righteous and noble, always wanting to do the right thing for people. He wants to be a fair and just king, but he knows he also needs to be smart and sometimes you can't avoid sacrifices.

𝙱𝙰𝙲𝙺𝚂𝚃𝙾𝚁𝚈: William was born to the king and queen of his kingdom, he was looked upon as a miracle child given how his parents had tried numerous of times to try and conceive a child, but they failed each time. In the eyes of the people it was a gift by god. But that certainly wasn't the case, due to desperation of the king and queen, they went to a witch to help them get a child. The witch agreed on one term, a deal for a deal. The king agreed and in a few weeks the Queen was pregnant with William. When it came time for the witch to ask her favour, the king started to panic, he knew if anyone found out about the deal the kingdom would riot, so he got together a small group of soldiers and sent them to go and kill the witch. Without question the guards did what they were told, slaying the witch. Before she died she managed to curse the king as well as his son. While she didn't exactly curse the king, she cursed his crown, whoever would wear or come into contact with it would become insane and mad. And William's curse is that when he turns twenty, which is when the king is expected to die, William will either have to wear the crown , or fall dead when the clock strikes midnight.
While the peasants don't know about the curse, him and his mother is quite aware and they are both equally to scared to touch the crown and get it away from the king.

𝙾𝚃𝙷𝙴𝚁: His father went on a rampage and started burning or hanging any witch he discovered. His father is also pretty sick at the moment. His twentieth birthday is coming up in a few months.
