John: *in a crowded mall* Too many people! Mom, too many people!

Mother: I have to pick up some things!

John: Too many people! *starts getting anxious*

Woman: You okay, son?

John: Too many people!!! I want to go home!

Mother: Shut up, John!

John: *starts moaning* I want to go home! I want to go home! *has an autism meltdown by covering his ears*

Woman: You poor boy! Do you have autism?

Mother: Don't you talk to my son!

Woman: If he doesn't like crowded places, you shouldn't have brought him here! He's having an autism meltdown!

Mother: He'll calm down, soon!

John: Please get me out of here! *still covering his ears*

Woman: Some mother you are! Come on, kid! You're coming with me!

Mother: Get back here with my son!

Woman: *takes John outside in the fresh air* We're out of the mall, okay? Are you alright?

John: I think so.

Woman: My name is Joan. What's your name?

John: My name is John.

Joan: Nice to meet you, John. I have a nephew that's autistic, and he goes through the same thing. His name is Matthew.

John: Oh. My mother is always yelling at me.

Joan: That's not right. I won't yell at you, okay? Seems like she's an unfit mother, that only cares about getting expensive items.
