Rachel: I can't believe, we're moving to Connecticut!
Mother: Yep! We are moving to Old Lyme CT.
Rachel: Where's that?
Mother: Not too far from Old Saybrook. Right on the shoreline.
Erin: From what I heard, Connecticut is too expensive! Taxes are way too high! And the people aren't really that friendly.
Father: You'll love Connecticut! Still revolutionary! That's their slogan!
Rachel: If what Erin says is true, then I'll hardly make any new friends in Connecticut.
Moving Day.....
Father: *driving on highway towards the Connecticut state line* We're almost in Connecticut!
Rachel: *bored* Uh huh....
Connecticut Welcome Sign: Connecticut Welcomes You! Ned Lamont Governor.
Father: We're in CT, now!
Erin: *bored* Yeah, cool.
Mother: The Constitution State!
Father: The capital is Hartford!
Rachel: We know! We learned this stuff in school!
Father: Just trying to educate you, honey! The state song is Yankee Doodle!
Erin: We get it, Dad!
Mother: Once we get settled, we should visit the Peabody Museum! That's in New Haven! New Haven is known for their pizza!
Erin: *starting to get interested* Now, there's an interesting fact!
Rachel: Yeah, I agree!
Father: And there is this awesome theme park, Lake Compounce! Located in Bristol, near the ESPN headquarters!
Erin: Cool! Maybe, Connecticut won't be so bad, after all!
Rachel: Welcome to Connecticut, Rachel!
