Later, all dry, we sat in my trailer, and Jodie was teasing Mandip and I that she knew where we were filming next.

"You'll never gonna guess!" she joked and ate another custard cream.

"Right lets see...the moon?" asked Mandip.

"Nope!" Jodie shook her head.

"I know........Cornwall!"

"Nowhere near!" she giggled like a cute child.

"C'mon Jodie! Tell us, please!" I pleaded with her.

"You haven't guessed yet Y/N!"

"Fine." I thought of everywhere I'd been, and found a particularly special one that I knew wasn't it. We weren't gonna get no matter how hard we tried.

"Isle of Iona, Scotland." I crossed my arms. Of course they weren't gonna film there; it was way too far away. But Jodie stopped eating and just looked at me.

"How'd you know? You got time lord telepathy like me or something?" she asked.

"I don't know, I just guessed it." I said and shrugged my shoulders.

"No, you've got some sorta mind thing." Mandip stated, smirking.

"I bet we have a bit of a connection with each other. What do you think Y/N?" Jodie asked. I wished she had  mind-reading too, so she could see exactly what I was thinking.

A few days later, we flew to Glasgow Airport then drove and took the ferry to Iona, where we would film Episode 2 and 3 with a sea-related villain called Zonkul. We stayed in the hostel near a beach called North End for a week. Me, Jodie and Mandip shared a room between us.

9th June 2020 (the day you arrived) - 6pm - St Columba Hotel & Restaurant

"Your food should be ready soon." said the waitress before she left our table with our orders.

"I'm glad we came here for dinner. Great suggestion Y/N!" exclaimed Mandip.

"Yeah! Lovely views, and the smells from the kitchen are absolutely delicious." added Jodie.

"It..it's nothing. I just know the island I suppose." I mumbled. I kept thinking about what Jodie was saying, almost a week later. I had been fine up until now, when it all came on top of me.

There was an awkward silence between the three of us, before Jodie tried to restart the conversation.

"I'm so tired from running today. The guys in those Zonkul suits are way too fast!"

"Poor things. They must be really hot in those suits, trying to chase us up and down the beach." smiled Mandip.

"They're scary though! The way they creep about, and make you jump from behind you...." Jodie shivered, making Mandip giggle.

I took a sip of water and looked out the window at the fading light. The sky was so thick with clouds that you couldn't even see the sun setting.

"Maybe we should get dressed up and go scare them!"

"Yeah. Although I don't fancy being soaked again!"

The pair of them were laughing about it for a while, and I chuckled a little myself. But I found I was in a different place for most of it. Jodie must've read my mind.

"Are you okay Y/N?" she asked, suddenly changing the mood.

"Have we said anything?" asked Mandip but I didn't answer.

I hated that they cared about me. I didn't need it, especially from Jodie. The more I let her care about me, the closer we would get, and I might try make a move, and...........well it wouldn't end good. I had already said and done enough.

"Nah, just a bit tired, that's all." I said, putting a wide smile on my face and looked up to them to add to the act. They looked reassured enough, so I took another gulp and put down the glass, going back to the darkening sky. I was wrong.

Jodie placed her hand on mine, and I snapped my head back to her in surprise. But she had a sympathetic smile on her face.

"If you ever need to talk about anything, Mandip and I'll be here for you. Anytime you need to let all your feelings out, or just need a mate, we're always happy to chat. Okay?"

"Jodie's right. It's bad for you to keep it all bottled up inside you. You don't have to, but it would be better for everyone if you did." Mandip added her hand.

I looked at both of them in turn, their concerned faces. Those concerned faces for me. Why were they worried about me? I stood up, letting their hands fall off mine.

"Tell....tell the waitress I don't want my food anyone. I..........I'll see you guys tomorrow. Bye." I mumbled and began to walk away.

"Y/N! Wait!" I heard Jodie's voice and two chairs scrape. I broke into a jog when I heard footsteps caught up behind me, Jodie and Mandip both shouting after me.

I let the night air travel through me in uncontrolled breaths as I ran out the pub, down the path and the road, my legs beginning to ache. The pair of following steps stopped in the gravel, still calling my name, but I still carried on, all the way until I reached the hostel. I jumped onto my bed and sobbed until my eyes were dry.
