No one's POV

After France gave you some spare clothes, he left to his room. You put on the clothes. They were big and loose, at least the shirt. The shorts fit you perfectly. You showed more skin than you'd like to, you had to get over it, there's nothing you could do about it, and you didn't want to ask him for anything smaller.

You stood by the window. The view from it was beautiful, the dim light of the moon, plus the fireflies and the flowers, it all was amazing. You wanted to go out and looked up to the stars, you rarely did that because were you and Kyle lived the stars weren't visible. In here, you could see more than a couple stars.

You debated wether to go or not to. In the end you decided to ask him for permission, it took lots of mental preparation.
You went upstairs and walked towards the door you believed was his room and knocked. You heard shuffling, then the sound of footsteps was heard and came closer to the door. You panicked, you didn't want him to see you, not with the clothes you were on. But it was to late to abort the mission, he opened the door and looked down at you, since you were shorter.

His face turned slightly red. You wanted to get off the awkward situation and said, "so uhm... I want to go to the backyard. And- And I don't know if I can, so... Can I go outside?"

"Yes, you can. But why?" He said trying to not mix up his words.
"I want to watch the stars. I know we just met but I really want to look at them." You said with a smile.

France looked away and thought for a moment. "Alright, but I'll go with you" he said going back inside his room. You internally cheered, you had accomplished your mission, on the other side you were anxious, he was going with you.
You tried to shrug off your anxiety, but it was nearly impossible. You just needed topics for conversations.

You waited outside his bedroom for a couple minutes, eventually he came out with a sweater on, another one in hand and two blankets. He smiled at you and walked out of his room, you followed him.
Both of you walked outside, it was a beautiful sight, at least for you. "Holy- this is just awesome."you mumbled.

France placed down one blanket on the grass and sat down. He gestured you to sit next to him, you walked towards him and sat next to him.
"Why do you like stars? Well... Stargazing?" He asked looking at you.
You froze and looked down, then up to the sky.

"I hate telling about my life but I knoe I can't always keep everything to myst. So, back when I was a kid, I went out to the garden with my father. I loved watching the stars, he would tell me stories, talk, laugh..." You explained, then embraced yourself. "One day he never came back, he had died. He was at the wrong place, at the wrong time, with the wrong person. I never heard his stories again, but I still go out and "talk" to him, as if he was there.  Don't pity me or say sorry, it's fine. I'm twenty something and It's been about twelve years since he died... I think, I dunno," she said, laying down in her back.  "but like remembering the few memories left. It makes me feel better, nowadays I do it rarely. Too much is going on and I simply forget." she added.

France laid down and hugged you, "I'm sorry to hear that." He said.

You stiffened at his warm and delicate touch, you were uncomfortable. It had been a long time since someone hugged you. "I told you not to be sorry. Past is in the past and I can't change it. As much as I'd love to, I can't. I'm fine with it anyways" You said,  looking up to the stars.

He let go of you, you actually didn't know how bad you wanted to be hugged until he let go. You wanted him to do it again, to embrace you with his warm body. You didn't do it, you didn't dare to ask.

France's POV

We spent a few hours outside, she talked about this guy called Kyle. She showed me the picture of him. He was a red haired guy, he was almost pale and he had a good complexion. "That's Kyle, the guy I live with" she smiled.

I didn't want to be assuming things but I was certain that he was her boyfriend. I felt heartbroken, I didn't understand why if I didn't love her. Or did I?

When I met (Y/n), she was mesmerizing, a pretty and outgoing girl willing to give up her life and freedom to two strangers. Now that I see her again, she has so much more things I didn't know about.  I spent so much time just to find her, and she just pops up here, still young but now with a boyfriend. How did she even get one? Did she give her first kiss to him? It could've been me, if only I found her quicker she wouldn't be in a relationship. We could be together and- Oh, I did fall for her...
