When it became night, I left Jerry sleep in his cage that France got him (forgot to mention that.) And kissed him goodbye.
I grabbed my beautiful backpack that had my belongings, Naz's belongings and the ushanka. Since it wasn't winter, it was all packed up.
Once I was ready I exited the house through the window of my room. I took a few steps back and smiled at the house. I made beautiful memories. Oh, I'm acting as if I'm not coming back, but who knows.
And that's when my journey started.
I don't know exactly the geography of this place, but assuming it's an alternate universe, countries should be closer than the real Earth, my Earth. And if my geography does not fail me, Germany is towards the east of France.
My feet already hurt, but I have to complete my mission, to return the oh so famous ring and note I never understood. Like, what does "ich liebe dich" mean?
I looked up to the dark sky and smiled. I'll get my answers, hopefully, but will I get to see East?
According to history, both Germany's got back together. But as I see it, the Germany that is today is West but whole. So, if countryhumans follow a bit of logic, does that mean East is dead? Or literally fused with West to one single being?
That's my understanding, I can be 100% wrong but eh...
I ain't no historian after all.
