(A/n- before the chapter starts, I'm going to make this clear... This shitty chapter is poorly paced. Sorry if it's horrible)

Germany's POV

"I need your help" I said. I couldn't do this alone, it'll just be a waste of time if I did.
"Hmm? Why?" He asked.

I explained to Poland everything, that it what I was going to do something important. I even told him about France's plans, which apparently Poland never knew. Yet, he did notice the strange behavior of France this week, but like everyone else, he ignored it.

Poland remained skeptical, and took a while for him to completely agree to my plan.
I said to him I'll be picking him uo at his place and then we could go in our search for France.

I knew it would be faster this way, but we still could loose all of the progress if we didn't find him quickly.

We were on our way to the park. A small feeling told me we were on the wrong place, but I pushed away all those thoughts. "Polen, I don't think this is the place" I said as we passed the park. "Then, we should go to another place" he looked at me and then out the window.

"We could go to... to UK's place and ask him if he knows where France might be" he suggested. I nodded and took the road that will lead us to UK's house.

My doubts were high, France didn't even talk to him at any time of the meeting. France actually avoided everyone, but not in a angry way, he was rather happy about it, or nervous. This is what made be suspicious about his actions, he was never like this, maybe he was but this is just not him.
France also stopped giving me any kind of updates about his whole plan, he didn't even gave me the notes anymore. He just completely made everything come to a halt.

I called him a couple times, asking for those updates. Most of the times he either hung up right away or disregarded the call. Texts were the same thing.
It's just makes no sense, nothing connects. I can't understand why he stopped with the plans he was making in which he was putting his whole heart and soul into it. Why would he even waste that much progress if he was almost about to resolve it.

I was taken out of my thoughts when Poland spoke. "Why are you so worried about him?" Poland asked, raising a brow. His eyes focused on the outside of the window.

"I'm not worried. It's just strange that something he was doing suddenly stopped. And haven't you noticed his weird behavior?" I replied, looking at the empty road.
Poland didn't answer my question he remained quiet until we arrived at UK's house.

I unbuckled myself and got out of the car. Before I walked, I looked around me in any signs if France presence, there were none. France was definitely not here, his car wasn't here.
I crouched and looked at Poland. "You think he is here?" I asked.

Poland then tried to look around from his seat, his response was him shaking his head saying "no".
"But... But you should ask UK, he should know. Right?" He added.
I shrugged, if France is not here I already wasted a lot of time.

I walked up to UK's door and knocked. The door was soon opened by him. "Oh, Germany, what brings you here?" (A/n- goddamit, I forgot how british people talk. My few braincells aren't cooperating, I'm helpless. I will stop doing accents someday.)

"Have you seen Frankreich? I'm looking for him because I've got some important work to give to him. And I haven't been able to find him" I explained.

UK apologized and said he didn't know, but he did know that France was busy with something. "You can find him at the mall, he said he was gathering materials" he said.

I thanked him for his help and said goodbye. I walked back to my car and got inside. Poland immediately asked if he knew. "Yes, the mall." I said, turning on the car and making my way to the mall.

"Wait, which mall?" Poland asked, that was a good point.

I thought for a while and a idea popped in my mind, "the one he always visits." I said, Poland simply hummed in response.

When we got to the mall, we spent a lot of time looking around. We even separated, he wasn't anywhere nearby.

Poland's POV

I was looking through all of the stores, France was no even visible. I questioned some people if they knew, only a few said yes and pointed somewhere. But those were clues that led to nowhere.

Too much time was wasted, maybe an hour or two but it felt like an actual eternity. Plus this place looked endless, and nothing was helping.

I don't even know why Germany wants to find him, and I barely understood about France's plans. I don't understand why I would even help.

After a while I went back with Germany, I told him I unfortunately found nothing. He said the exact same thing. He was disappointed, he was focused on finding out France's strange behavior.

Germany thanked me for the help, even if we didn't find anything. I had to interrupt him when something caught my attention. France was there, walking at our direction completely unware of us.
Germany was confused at first at why I interrupted him, but I nudged my head to where France is.

As soon as I did that, France lifted up his head and saw us. He stopped dead in his tracks, shock and a small hint of fear written in his face. He extended one of his arms stopping someone shorter than him.

It was a female, a human female. She wore an ushanka and held multiple bags. I noticed strands of (h/c) coming out from the ushanka.
It took me a moment to realize who that human was.

It's (Y/n).
The one who went through so much trouble to help me escape and was willing to die.
