Chapter 20

Rems POV~

I suddenly got separated from Rain as the crowd got crazier and I saw her collapse "RAIN" I try getting to her and eventually I pick her up and push my way out of the crowd and I take her backstage and lay her on the couch that's back there.

The guys run over since the opener is still playing and Alex asks me what happened "w-we got separated an-and..." I start crying and Alex hugs me "I know you didn't do it on purpose Remington"

Zach checks my pulse and looks at the bruises I have "Rem why don't you take her to the hospital, we'll meet you there after the show."

I nod and pick Rain up and carry her to the Car.

Alex's POV~

I walk over to Awsten and tell him what happened. He looks at me saying "will she be ok?" I sigh and say "I have no idea after the show we will head over to the hospital and see her" Awsten nods and gets back to his show.

Remingtons POV~

Damnit why do I have to be so stupid I feel tears running down my cheeks as I wait for the doctor to come out.

After about an hour of waiting the doctor comes out "She's in a stable condition, she is currently still unconscious and has several broken bones and a possible concussion, she can go home in the morning" I nod feeling relieved and head into her room and sit next to her bed holding her hand.

Rains POV~

I wake up to a beeping sound and look around the room to see the ATL boys and Waterparks sleeping around the room. Alex wakes up and sees me then smiles getting up walking over towards me. Alex sits on the side of the bed "how you feeling girly?" He smiles softly pressing the nurses button.

"I feel ok my head hurts and so does my arm and chest" I explain smiling at him. The nurse walks in and gives me pain medication and Lisa walks in with a big stuffed bear. Lisa almost cries at the sight of me. "I'm ok Mom I promise"

3rd Person~

Rem walks in the room and smiles when he sees that Rain is awake and runs towards her. Rain screams and it makes Rem stop. She looks confused "who is this?" She points to Rem "Where's Zach?" She looks around confused.

Alex sighs "Rain sweetheart Rem is your boyfriend, Zach and you broke up months ago" Rain starts crying and Alex hugs her.

Soon Alex and the boys take Rain home and she lays in bed and sleeps. Alex FaceTimes Andy and asks him to come over. He does so and goes to see Rain.

Andy wakes her up and she looks at him and hugs him "my favorite uncle came to see me!!!" She giggles and he just sits next to her.

"I wanted to come see you, and ask you what's the last thing you remember?" Andy looks at her as she ponders the question. "The last thing I remember is hanging with Zach at school and Dad coming to pick me up" Andy nods and smiles.

"Well I want Ice Cream soooooooo wanna come along?" He asks like a little child. Rain nods excitedly and gets out of bed wincing slightly. Andy smiles and says, "woah there missy take it easy."

~Rains POV
About an hour of convincing dad that I was well enough to leave the house with Andy, we head to the ice cream shop where Zach is sitting at one of the tables with another girl. I bite my lip and sigh as we order our ice cream and leave.

We bump into Rem on the way home and there is an awkward silence between us. "Uh hey" he says and I just wave and Andy gives a sympathetic look to Rem.

"Hey Rain we should get home your dad wanted you home early" Andy says softly wrapping his arm over my shoulder. I just nod and softly ask "What if I don't remember him?"

Andy Sighs "maybe you guys can start all over. It'll be like meeting each other for the first time again and whatever you choose you still have the best uncle in the world behind you"

I just smile at his words "well let's get home and eat this ice cream then." I giggle as we get home and I look at my phone seeing my lock screen seeing a picture of me and Remington I sigh "hey dad I'm gonna invite that boy that was in my hospital room over. The one that I didn't remember"

He smiles "sure sweetheart Lisa's gonna make dinner so ask him if he wants spaghetti." I just nod as Andy and I go watch a movie and eat our ice cream before it melts.

I look at my phone scrolling through my contacts until I land on Remington's name and I open a message:

Me: Hey

Rem: Hey

Me: I was wondering if you could come over tonight. You know to talk

Rem: Sure I'd love to. What time?

Me: how's 7:30? moms making dinner.

Rem: sounds great

Me: great see you then!

I put my phone down and finish my ice cream while watching the movie with Andy.
