chpt 34) hara's death.

something was off today.

even as i woke up , life was too calm...too peaceful.

is this the calm before the storm?

at around 7 am i arrived at work. everything was going too well. i went through some paperwork and then at around 8 am i got changed and went to the practise rooms.

at some point jimin and taehyung came in and we just practised together. they had finished their fittings earlier than the rest.

as i was practising jimin and taehyung went to sit down for a bit.i could hear them whispering and their faces interact with pain through the mirror.

me: why do you guys seem so shocked haha?

taehyung: yoona just texted me,  to take you home right now.

me: why? what's going on?

jimin: she said we should stay with you whilst you get some paperwork from home. she said that she would send you the link ...but that we need to leave RIGHT NOW.

taehyung: I've got your bag , lets just go now. 

i followed them , confused and curious. this is not normal , normally i would just get someone to get the file for me , if i had left it at home.

they grabbed my arm and led me through the corridors and the elevator to the car park. all the workers would just stare at me , what the fuck is going on?

once we sat in the car , the driver took us to my house. taehyung was still holding onto my bag and he wouldn't let me have it.

me: okay stop , my house is right there . just tell me now , what is going on?

taehyung: we will explain soon , lets just go and sit in the living room.

me: i can hear my phone buzzing and blowing up. what happened?

the car stopped and i got out.the driver grabbed my attention and said " my deepest condolences"

me: guys , did you hear what the driver just said?

tae: open the door.

i got my keys out and the door opened.

we went and sat in the conversation pit.

tae: so , umm.we are here for you, know that. okay.

i sat next to taehyung and opposite jimin.

jimin reached out and held my hands as taehyung wrapped his arms around my shoulders.

jimin: there is news and confirmation that , goo hara has passed away.

my voice cracked , "what"

taehyung: today hara  was found dead at her home in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam, ...with her cause of death a possible suicide. Police found a suicide note written by Goo. the housekeeper who found her body at 6 pm the same day. An autopsy was not performed after the police consulted the prosecutor in-charge and took into consideration her family's request, and the body was handed over to her family on November 26. i know-

me: stop.

tears just streamed down my cheeks.

me: i was with her for weeks after sulli unnie died. i texted her two days ago. i -

taehyung: it is not your fault

me: but it is...i didn't carry on texting her. i didn't force her to stay with me for longer.
