Munsters Meets Addams 2: Lionel's Revenge

        Ok, so in this chapter we are going to do things a little bit different. Usually I don't do musical numbers in my stories, but my friend natasharussia suggested I include this song for Gomez and Morticia because she thinks they would totally sing it in this situation and it really goes with this chapter! Plus she's putting in come what may from the musical Moulin Rouge! In her Moulin Rouge fan fic for me bc it's my favorite song out of that whole musical!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰 and a friend's gotta return the favor! 😁 And plz know that I do not own this song or these characters! All credit goes to Disney and whoever own the Addams family and Munsters!

The Munsters and the Addams were in the castle laboratory. Lionel was guarding the door that led upstairs and Lisa and Andrew were guarding the outside of the castle. Gomez was smoking a cigar and pacing around the room thinking about what to do to save his a Tish.

"I just don't know what to do!" Gomez exclaimed. "Morticia is out there all alone and I have no clue where she is!"

"Mama is working on searching for her in the crystal ball." Uncle Fester said, hoping Gomez it would ease Gomez's mind.

"Oh crystal ball, let me see what I want to see....reveal the location of Morticia Addams to me...." Mama chanted, hoping the ball would help her find Morticia. As mama chanted to her ball Gomez walked over to the window.

"I will find you Querida." Gomez said. "That's a promise I will keep."

"Lily, I have a brilliant idea!" Grandpa exclaimed. "You and I can change into bats and we can search for her!"

"Grandpa, you're brilliant!" Lily exclaimed.

"Now lets go. And don't you worry Gomez, we'll bring her back safe and sound!" Grandpa said. Lily and Grandpa changed into bats and flew out the window.

"Grandpa, if we find Morticia, how are we going to change her back into human?" Lily asked.

"Not sure, but we will deal with that when we get back. Right now we have to focus on finding Morticia and getting her safe back to Gomez."

"Right." Lily said.

As Grandpa and Lily flew out the window Gomez followed and sat at the window glumly, longing for Morticia.

"Tish....." Gomes whispered.

Morticia flew around the forest, hoping to find her way back to the castle. She was very worried about her husband, children, family, and new friends.

"Oh Gomez darling....please be alright." Morticia whispered.

Morticia: "When the shadows unfold when the sun hides its gold, when the wind and the cold come calling, when the path isn't clear, and the stars disappear as an endless midnight's falling."

Gomez: "At the edge of the sky, there's a moon hanging high, when you're lost it'll try to remind you."

Morticia/Gomez: "On a dark desert night you can look to the light cause it's shining their to find you. Desert moon light the way 'til the dark turns to day, like a lamp in the lonely night. Bright and blue desert moon wild and free will it burn just for me? Shine down, shine down, 'til I find my way to you."

"Gomez, at the edge of the sky, there's a moon hanging high, when you're lost you can try the view, cause it waits for you there and if you see it too."

Morticia: "I can find my way."

Gomez: "I can find my way."

Morticia/Gomez: "I can find my way to you."

Morticia began to cry, then crying turned into sobbing. She knew she may never see Gomez again, or her children again. Oh how she ached for them. She remembered all the good times they had together. Like the time they went on a little treasure hunt and how they drank to the good fortune of those burglars saving them the trip from sailing all around the world and going on a wild goose chase for the treasure. They dug in the cave and found the treasure full of coins, but it turned out they were chocolate. Even though they didn't find any real coins the chocolate was delicious and she, Gomez, and Uncle Fester enjoyed indulging in the chocolate and talking for a while.

Then she began to remember her time with the Munsters and how fast of friends they became. She remembered the talks they all shared in the living room and the scary story Lily told. Oh how fun she had! She was snapped out of her thoughts when she heard two familiar voices calling.

"Morticia?!"

Morticia looked up to see Grandpa and Lily flying towards her. For the first time since Lionel attempted to kill Gomez and kidnap her daughter, her face lit up with pure joy and she immediately flew towards her two friends, and she and Lily shared a one armed (or winged) hug.

"I'm so glad we've found you!" Lily exclaimed.

"And I'm so glad you found me!" Morticia exclaimed. "Grandpa, you came to?"

"Aw don't mention it. Any friend of Lily's is a friend of mine." Grandpa said.

"Thank you ever so much! How are Gomez and the children?" Morticia asked, full of worry.

"They're alright." Grandpa reassured her.

"And Uncle Fester? Mama? Lurch?" Morticia pressed on.

"Everyone is alright, but they're being guarded by Lionel and those two teenage idiots." Lily answered.

"I certainly hope you two know the way back!" Morticia said.

"Know it?! We know it like the back of our hands! We used to live here!" Grandpa exclaimed, which relieved Morticia.

"Well, come along everybody! We haven't a moment to lose!" Lily exclaimed, and all three of them flew back in the direction of the castle.
