“This is Xannia; do you have something to do for the rest of the day?” she asked from the other side of the line.

“U-um...”

“I just want you to go to the mall with me to get a gift for my nephew. It’s his birthday tomorrow and my Aunt forgot to buy him a gift, so she chose me to do it instead, because she’s quite busy for the time being. I’m hoping you could help me pick a shirt for him.”

“Ah, right now...?”

“Yes. Sheya will give us a ride using her car.”

I’m kind of hesitant to leave Amethyst here, but I’m sure she’ll be okay, because her little sister’s with her.

Xannia needs my help and I can’t just ignore that either... so...

“Okay, where will she pick me up?” I asked.

“Don’t worry about it; we’ll pick you up at your home. We’re already on our way, so we will be coming there for about fifteen minutes...”

That got me a little shocked, “T-that soon? W-well, see you, then.” after I said that, she ended the call, making me turn my eyes at Amethyst again. When I caught her staring at me, she instantly looked to the other direction. “H-hey, um, can I borrow your cell phone for a minute, Amethyst?”

“Hm? What for?” she asked, a bit hesitant to give me her phone.

“I’m not planning to do anything bad to it; I just want to exchange digits with you for an important reason. I wish I could tell it to you right now, but something came up, so I need to go.”

She didn’t reply, instead, she picked out her phone from her track suit’s pocket and unlocked it before giving it to me.

And with that, I registered our cell phone numbers to each of our phonebooks.

“I’ll go, now.” I said, giving back her cell phone as I stand on my feet. “I’ll text you, later... and get well soon, Amethyst...”

She just nod as a reply.

Going back home, I decided to change my clothes...

I wore a white t-shirt and also put on a blue checkered polo above it. Then, a black trousers...

“I won’t be able to drive the two of you home later; I have a party to attend to, this evening.” Sheya said while she’s driving for us to get to the mall.

“That is all right, Sheya. Just dropping us there would be something to be thankful for, already.” Xannia replied to her from the passenger seat.

When we got to the entrance of the mall, I think I heard Sheya mumbled a ‘good luck’ to Xannia before we stepped down from the car.

I wonder why...?

Hm, is it for finding a nice shirt for her nephew?

Before Sheya closed the window of her car, we both gave her a thanks for her kindness.

With that, we went inside the mall and go straight to a clothing store...

“So... what does your nephew like when it comes to shirts?” I asked while we are selecting among the shirts that are lined up.

“Um, I guess he likes the color of red and he loves music, so choosing a shirt that is somehow connected to music would be good.”

“Hmm...” I kept on choosing for a minute until I saw one. “Oh, how about this?” I asked, picking out a white shirt with a headphone design close to its neckline; along with some symbols of whole tone and semitone to its right sleeve. “This headphone design looks real to me and music is obviously written in this shirt.”
