Epilogue

Emily's point of view

Six years later

I run downstairs, stressing out. What if we don't have enough wine? Or what if they don't like the food? Maybe they don't even wanna come..

When pulling the fridge open to check the beer, I hear an adorable voice behind me: "Mommy I'm ready! Do you like my dress?" Closing the fridge, I turn to her. "Nawh yes Venus, it's beautiful.." A bright smile appears on her face, as I pick her up and kiss her nose. "So are you tho" I add, and then wink.

"Thank you mommy.. Daddy said that the guests will be here any moment." she mumbles, cuddling into me and laying her head on my shoulder. "Okay then.. I've got everything ready.. Do you know where daddy is?"

She nods: "Yes he's upstairs, he was going through the drawer with your undies"

Oh God.. He said he had something planned for me tonight.. Just as I'm about to go upstairs and get him, the doorbell gets ringed. Venus giggles, smiles at me, and then lays her head back on my shoulder.

I yell up the stairs that Dave has to come, and while hearing his footsteps speed down the stairs, I open the front door.

"Heyy! Oh my God it's so nice seeing you again!" Lynn exclaims, before kissing my cheek on both sides and walking past me into the house. I tell her I missed her while she was in Europe, and then say hi to her husband, Adam.

I see Venus waving at both of them, but other than that, she stays in my arms cuddled into me. Dave is downstairs by now, and said hi too. Just as I walked into the living room with them, I hear the doorbell ring again. "I got it!" Dave tells me, and when he opens the door I hear Duke's voice, then Dave's, then Duke's again. Then his boyfriends' voice, thanking us for inviting him too.

Venus smiles up at me, "mommy can you put me down? I want to go say hi to Duke." I chuckle, and then put her down. "Duke Duke Duke!"

When all of them walk into the living room, I get them something to drink, and then get them to start talking to Lynn and Adam. Then the doorbell rings again. I grin, wink at Dave, walk at the door and open it.

"Emily! Ahh, still hot." Ace says, with a wink. I hug him tightly, and then whisper in his ear: "Sshh we don't want my husband getting jealous." Ace chuckles. "Ohh, daddy huh?" I giggle, knowing that's exactly what I'm gonna be calling him tonight.

"Aceeee! You're here!" Venus yells out while running at us. Ace quickly bows down and picks her up, then spins her around and kisses her head. "Good afternoon V, oh you look beautiful! I love your dress. Did you pick it yourself?"

I shake my head at Dave, and he looks back at me with a smile. Then I walk over at him, and slide into his arms while watching Ace interacting with our daughter. Dave whispers in my ear: "Aren't they cute together?"

I laugh and nod, then remind him: "Yes but did you forget Ace babysits her once a week? Oh and he's practically her third parent.."

"Hmmhmm.." I feel his hand slide onto my ass. "Na ah not right now baby.." I pull away quickly, give him a quick look and lift Venus out of Ace's arms. "That's enough flirting with my daughter Ace. Hey didn't you have a new girlfriend?"

Ace nods excitedly. "Yesss I do! Oh she's so fucking hot, especially in red ling-" He quits his sentence, when I glare at him and then – after handing Venus to Dave – I mutter in his ear: "Don't swear in front of my daughter Ace! And please don't talk about those things with her here.. Or I'll have you have "the talk" with her when she's older!"

Ace nods slowly, then gives me a grin and whispers: "Still controlling in a sexy way.. as always."

Before I can grab him, he runs to the living room, and falls down on the couch in between Duke and his boyfriend. I hear their protests, and then Ace's laugh. "Hey Ace at least let me sit with my fiancée.."

"FIANCEE? Oh my Lord give me the tea, who proposed? It was you, wasn't it Duke?" I laugh, look at Dave and then at Venus. "Okay we should go sit with them.." I say, before taking Dave's hand and pulling him to the couch.

I fall down on it, and Dave sits down next to me, with our child on his lap. Venus cuddles into his chest, and then takes his hand. I smile at myself, when she starts playing with his wedding ring. She always does that when there's a lot of people.

She gets shy. I wouldn't believe myself if I told this to myself, but yeah, Venus gets shy. I decide Dave deserves a drink, and after asking everyone what they want, I stand up to go to the kitchen. I put all the drinks on a tray, and walk back with it. Going around, everyone takes their drink off of it, and then thanks me.

After what feels like a million you're welcome's, I end up at Dave. He smiles and takes his beer, then my chin. Then he pulls my face to his softly, gives me a kiss and whispers "Thank you baby." 

He holds on to my bottom lip with his teeth, as I pull back slightly, just to whisper: "You're very welcome.. Daddy." He quickly lets go of my face, with his hand and with his teeth. Then he mutters: "You can't do that to me.. Venus is sitting on my lap!"

I giggle, then sit down next to him and cuddle into his side. "I know." Then I watch Venus shoving forward, looking at his boner, then looking up at him and giving him a confused look. "Why does that happen daddy?"

Suddenly the whole room is quiet, and everyone is looking at us. I bite down on my bottom lip, not to start laughing. Dave looks at me, then down at his dick, then at Venus. He opens his mouth, closes it, opens it and stutters: "Uhm.. I.. Daddy just has to pee baby.. I'll be right back."

Putting her on my lap, he stands up and glares at me. I wink, and giggle at his red face. Then I mouth "you're welcome" as he walks at the bathroom.

Venus cuddles into my stomach, pulls her legs up, and rolls herself into a little ball. I wrap my arms around her, and kiss her head. After a minute, she's fast asleep.

"So, Ace, how are you and your girlfriend doing? Why didn't you bring her?" Duke asks, after climbing onto his fiancée's lap. Ace grins, and bites his lip. "Oh we're doing great. In a few days it's our 4 months anniversary actually. We started dating a few weeks after I finished college. Oh and I didn't bring her because I told her to wait for me at her apartment.. Naked.. With the toys."

Duke looks at Ace, then at Venus, sees she's asleep, and then bites his lip. "Aha.. Well I hope you 2 will stay together. I like her."

I decide not to try to get into this conversation, so look over at Lynn and Adam. Lynn is laying on the couch, with her head on Adam's lap. They're talking quietly, and the way they're looking at each other makes me smile. They're so in love..

I actually can't believe she fell in love with Adam. I mean, after he bought her from us, I knew she'd be okay. Dave told me a bit about him, and he told me he's not so bad. But that they'd marry each other..

And then there's Ace, who got himself a job when Venus was around 2. He found a college in the city, and then took off to go live his life. Well, he still wanted to come here, so he babysitted Venus twice a week so Dave and I could have the day off together.

Now, he still babysits her once a week. And Lynn comes over a lot, I mean what would you expect from your best friend? When Adam contacted us a few years ago, saying he and Lynn were married.. Well I just wanted to know how Lynn was.

And then we started talking a lot and well, it ended up in a friendship. I'm happy with these friends tho.. Dave has Duke and Adam, who I like too. I have Lynn and Ace, and Adam's boyfriend is pretty okay too.

And of course I have Dave and my beautiful daughter. I love them both so much..

Cuddling back into Dave's side again, I stroke Venus' belly while she's asleep in my arms. Tomorrow I have lectures and homework again, but tonight I'm gonna just have a barbeque with my friends, then kiss my daughter goodnight, then fuck my husband, then fall asleep in his arms and be happier than I've ever been.
