Harry's POV

I went to walk out but was stopped in the main area by the girls. "What the hell were you doing with her?" Mal questioned angrily.

"If you hadn't noticed, she was asleep. I wasn't gonna let her freeze or get kidnapped." I went to walk out again, but Evie stopped me.

"Quinn isn't the relationship type," Evie told me, trying to act smug. I couldn't help but laugh.

"You think that's what I was doing with her? Trying to get her to date me? If you haven't noticed, you're on the Isle. We don't do that like ya do in Auradon."

"Well, why were you with her before she fell asleep?" Evie asked. I looked at her.

"Ye know 'her place' she was talking about? It's the same as my place. We were just hanging out."

"Why would she hang out with you?" Mal questioned.

"Why don't you ask her? All I know is that she said I was better company then your gang. Oh, and something about because I dont treat her like a child and how I'm tougher than you lot," I said and smirked.

"You're lying," Mal said.

I looked at her. "Another thing you can ask the lass," I said.

"What did you talk about?" Evie asked. I looked at her.

"Whatever we wanted to."

"But why did she even fall asleep?" Evie questioned.

"She was tired. Plus, we had spent a long time out there, and if ya didn't notice, it's late."

Being done with their questions, I walked out. When I was at the bottom of the stairs, an arm grabbed mine. I turned around and put my hook to their neck, but it was only Evie. I lowered it a bit. "I didn't do anything to the lass," I said.

"I know. Thank you," Evie said. I just looked at her. "Look, she's been having a rough time lately. I'm glad she had a someone that she could be comfortable with. I'm not ecstatic it was you but still."

"Is there something ye want?" I asked.

"Just...just to say thanks," she said. She hugged me quickly and then walked back up. I had had enough of soft Auradon people for one day, so I walked away.

~morning~
Quinn's POV

I woke up feeling refreshed for the first time in a long time. I wondered why, but then I remembered what had happened last night. Oh no, the gang is probably going to skin me alive. Mal and Evie probably hate me.

Well, I thought. It was so worth it.

I grabbed clothes and went to the bathroom to shower. When I was done, I changed into a blue lace shirt, black jeans, blue and red combat boots, and a black and white leather jacket.

When I walked out of the bathroom, someone stopped me. "We need to talk," said Evie.

I rolled my eyes and followed her into the main living area. Mal was in there, sitting down and looking nervous for today. I'm nervous, too, but I'm glad I can hide it better. When Evie and I came in, she looked up and almost glared at me. Evie stood next to her with her arms crossed.

"What?" I asked.

"What the hell happened last night?!" Mal yelled, standing up.

"It doesn't matter. No harm was done," I said.

"But there could have been! You could have been hurt! I told you not to trust him!" Evie yelled at me. I glared back at her.

"I don't know what you're thinking in your little Auradon brain, but I'm not a child anymore! I don't need protecting and especially not protecting from either of you! Obviously I wasn't going to let myself be in danger! Hades, he even carried me back so I was safe! I'm not sorry that I feel at home here! I'm not sorry that I actually had a good time yesterday! If you can't deal with me being happy for once in my goddamned life, then just stay away from me!" I yelled. My eyes were glowing, and I was shaking with anger. Red smoke surrounded me. I turned into a lion and roared loudly at them. They looked at each other.

Evie spoke first after a while. "I'm sorry, Quinn."

"Yeah. I wasn't thinking either," said Mal. "I'm sorry."

"It's hard for me to stop worrying about you, though. You're my little sister."

I turned back into myself and walked to my room. If I had stayed, I probably would have tried to kill one of then.

I grabbed my mom's recipe and put it into my pocket. I put on my jewlery and stuffed anything I might need or want to take with me in my pockets. Because worst case scenario, I have to go back to Auradon.

It was eleven, so I walked out of my room and down to the area Jay and Carlos would come in at. I didn't bother to wait for Mal or Evie. When I got down to the area, I sat on a barrel and waited. This was going to be rough if we had to fight.

Some time later, Mal and Evie came down and leaned against a wall. We didn't speak. A few minutes later, we saw the limo coming.

When they got here, we realized the boys brought Lonnie with them. Thankfully, she was smart enough to bring swords as well. Evie welcomed her, and I stayed on my barrel until it was time to go. Carlos came up to me.

"Are you okay?" he asked.

"Peachy," I responded, and he left it at that. For a second, he grabbed my hand and squeezed it before letting go. I looked at him.

"Hey, we got this," he said smiling, and I nodded.

We made it to the docks, and I stayed in the back. The further away I was from Mal or Evie the better.

"Hey, guys! They're here!" Gil yelled. All of the pirates yelled. This couldn't end well.

"Welcome!" yelled a voice that grabbed my attention. I looked over to see Harry with a tied up Ben on the plank hanging over the water. I couldn't help but smile a little when Harry caught my eye. He smiled a bit too, but hid it as a smirk when he looked to Uma.

"Finally!" she yelled. I looked at her, and she started singing.
