Manik and Aryaman reached the intelligence bureau soon was escorted to Sudhir Murthy's cabin...

ARYAMAN- what do you think about this case Manik

MANIK- what do you mean

ARYAMAN- about everything Manik ......will we be able to pull this off

Manik just smirked .....and that smirk did tell a lot about what Manik is going to do .....by seeing this Aryaman can analyze that Manik knew what he is going to do .....but at the same time Aryaman could not stop himself from pondering over what his mentor had told them ....... one thing he was sure of is that this case is going to be life-changing 

soon Sudhir Murthy arrived ...

SUDHIR - hello young gentlemen ......welcome 

BOTH-  hello sir 

SUDHIR- Ashok told me what you both did to save mr.khanna's granddaughter ....actually to say I am impressed would be a lie... I am more of clueless or you can say confused on how did you find the location in such a short time...

both Manik and Aryaman looked at each other confused ...

ARYAMAN- but sir we did what every other police officer would do ...

SUDHIR - Aryaman right( Aryaman nodded) .....you really think we are sitting and working on devil from 15 years..... wouldn't we would have caught him by now ....you both did something which leads you right to the location ..... I want to know what is that .....

MANIK- we just followed a pattern ..... I wonder how you guys can miss such a simple clue .....(after a small pause) I don't know about devil ....but I do know about Shanker ......

SUDHIR- what do you know about Shanker .....

MANIK(sighed)- this case was my first ever case....it was a murder case of a 16-year-old boy .....according to the case report the boy was drug addict ..... with further investigation we came to know the suppliers and raided their hiding spot we did catch the murderer but could not get hold of the main drug supplier.....

SUDHIR- how is Shanker related to the case .....

MANIK- according to the sources the man behind the supplier is someone called Shanker ....at that point of time we had no clue who he is what he is or how he looks ....nothing we just had his name and fingerprint ......we had to close the case because the mere name of a person cannot be enough evidence .....

SUDHIR- I am not getting officer

MANIK- sir at that point of time we were new and any drug-related case was not given to us .....but this Shanker was arrested by mistake by us when went to raid an area where we had information on weapon trafficking .....but he was there by chance so he was arrested without our knowledge ......... so we took their details and fingerprint just in case and let them go.... but when we were matching the fingerprint I was shocked to see he was the same person ....  when I took this case to my higher officer ....but still I was not allowed to work on this case .....that was when I decided that I will not leave him at any cost and I started reading all the case files regarding his kidnapping as well as his drug dealing .....but what I did not know was there  was another person who is his boss...aka devil....one thing which is sure is that devil has no hand in kidnapping it is work of Shanker ....devil only deals with drugs

SHANKER- well I am impressed ....yes the kidnapping is purely Shanker's work ....if you both would n't have gone also we had an idea where he kept Mr. Khanna's granddaughter ....so now for starters I will tell you to go through the entire case file regarding the devil and tell me what you guys think ....and will meet the entire team working on the case tomorrow ...... 

AFTER ONE MONTH 

Within this one month, Manik had almost memorized all the details regarding the case ....right from the details collected when this case started and till today he had everything in his brain...

one thing he was not able to understand was the medium in which devil brought the drugs into the city ....that was the only thing no one knew how..ofcourse he brought them through the port but the place where he supplies ....he also went through the pubs and all sort of places where the matter of drug was filed 

Sudhir Murthy regularly conducts a meeting to know the progress but no one knows what to do next.

one day Manik was going through the paperwork of the case when he came across the file named ASHWIN PATEL ... on asking the in charge why this file is here ... he came to know it is a case file related to the devil ...at once re rushed to Sudhir's cabin ... after knocking ...Manik entered

MANIK- sir I have to ask something important( after showing the file) why this file was not shared with us

SUDHIR(on seeing the file and sighed)- I don't think this will help you Manik

MANIK-  but why sir

SUDHIR- ASHWIN PATEL(sighed) he was the first officer to take up the case on the devil and the first officer to lose his life on the matter ....after when we went through the file we never got anything useful so we did not include with other files 

MANIK- sir what more proof you need that this file has valid information when he was killed for that ....( sighed) can I take the file ... I am sure he did not lose his life just like that 

With that Sudhir nodded his head and Manik took the file with him ....one thing was sure that Manik did feel good about this particular file manik took the file with him to his house one thing he was sure about this file ....either the officer was too smart to hide the valid information or else the file doesn't have ant information at all....either way, he is going to give this a shot
