Drunk

3 weeks later from last post

We are living quite well in the Glade now, Gally and the builders made 2 more huts one for me because I'm the only girl and one for Alby because he is the leader, the builders also made a wooden tower it is actually really good I never thought they would be able to make something, I thought anything they were to build would break but it hasn't yet so thats good. We have a New Job, Slicers they tend to the livestock. Jeff and George are doing a great job at being our Med-Jacks they are learning a lot, Albys cooking hasn't changed, it is not the best food ever. Newt and I have grown very close working together, and the garden we started along with Zart looks amazing our crops are growing and are all very close to being ready to eat. Tomorrow is the day we go through the doors we learned that it opens every day at 5:30am and closes at 8pm exactly, so to be safe Alby is going to have us leave at 6 in the morning and be back by 7. We are all pretty scared but we focus on other things like our work and it is Greenie day and it is me and Newts turn to give them the tour. 

Later that day when the box comes up

There were 3 more boys in the box, still no girl so I am still alone. Newt knew I was disappointed about it.

After dinner at the bonfire celebration we throw every time the box comes up, we were all drinking a little to much of Gallys secret drink, Minho, Newt, Gally, Ben and me were all sitting behind a fallen tree facing away from the bonfire, just sitting together drinking until Minho spoke "Y/N why haven't you and Newt got together yet?" he asked, I didn't respond I just started getting really red, and so did Newt's! "We should play a gammmmmee" Newt said obviously very drunk, but then again so was I, "How about truth or dare?" Ben suggested, we all nodded our heads in agreement. "I'll go first", Gally said "Truth or Dare, Minho". Minho answered dare, "I dare you to go get us more drinks" Minho groaned and went to get more drinks for us, minus ben he passed out on the ground he got to drunk and tired, "You're pretttty" I heard newt say from next to me but I knew it was the drinks talking but I still blushed. "Truth or Dare, Gally" I asked him, "truth" he answered "why didn't you want to volunteer to go through the doors?" I asked, "Because I was afraid and feel safer here" He barked. Minho just came back with drinks, we drank so much wayyyy over Albys limit, except Gally he stopped. Newt attempted to stand up only to fall back down but he tried again and got it, I held my hand out for him to pull me up, but instead he just grabbed my hand and pulled until we both fell on top of each other I was laying on him and we locked eyes and slowly got back on our feet, Then a drunk Minho starts dancing like crazy and Newt and I join in, Gally was still sitting so I walked over to him and grabbed his hands I pulled him up I tell him to join us he responds with "I'm going to end up bring all you shanks to your rooms you guys are too drunk", I grab his arm and lean on him saying "pleeeaaassseee come and dance with us I promise you will have fun", he rolls his eye and "Fine" he says sounding like he was pouting. we all were dancing like a bunch of crazy maniacs who were too drunk, I felt someone grab my hand and spin me around into them it was Newt our bodies were smashed together and we started slow dancing, our arms wrapped around each other, my head on his shoulder and he rested his chin on the top of my head then he lifted it up to kiss the top of my head. Just being in his arms dancing there I felt the rest of the world drown out and all there was, was me and Newt. We were still dancing when we heard behind us yell "Alright you guys have had way to shucking much to drink LIGHTS OUT!" Me and Newt let go of each other "Good night Newt, thank you for the dance it was amazing" I said "Goodnight Love, and I also loved dancing you were amazing" I turned around not believing that those words came out of his mouth, even if it was just because he was drunk, I blushed so hard. Alby had to help Newt, Ben and Minho to there rooms it was hilarious seeing them try to walk properly, but then I realized that I was walking worse then the boys were I felt someone grab my legs and carry me bridal style to, I looked up it was Gally he was carrying me to my hut. When we got there he helped me into bed and took off my shoes and told the that Alby is going to wait a few days before sending us out through the doors because we will all be very hungover. 

Once he got me in the bed he crouched down next to it while I was passed out and he started sto speak saying "Y/N I would never tell you this while you were conscious but I love you Y/N, from the moment I laid eyes on you, and when I saw you dancing with Newt it felt like I was just stabbed in the heart I can't bear seeing you with him, because I want to be with you, and I know you won't ever feel the same way, but at least I'll have the honor of being one of your best friends and that is good enough for me". Little did he know I heard the whole thing.

No I don't feel the same way but I'm glad he is going to be able to live with it knowing how I feel about Newt.
