NICK P.O.V.: the next morning, I decided to wake up Demi with breakfast in bed so she wouldn't catch a cold cause it was really cold. I smiled watching her glance at me with sleepy eyes and kissed her forehead sitting in front of her with our breakfast.
Nick: good morning baby
Demi: morning baby (I smiled at her) that looks good
Nick: you're allowed to eat (she nodded and we had breakfast while watching the forest, a little anxiety hitting my body as I saw the huge amount of trees in front of us) I was thinking that maybe we could go for a walk later?
Demi: oh sure, I'd love to
Nick: that's cool...what time are we leaving?
Demi: umm, tomorrow morning
Nick: alright, we still have a night to spend here (she nodded smirking playfully and I laughed) I see what your plans are for tonight
Demi: you make it seems as I was the only one thinking that (we laughed and I kissed her hand)
Nick: I'm gonna take a shower, kay?
Demi: okay, I'll be waiting here for you
Nick: I know, where would you go without me? (She bit her lip and nodded)
Demi: yea, nowhere
As I made my way into the bathroom, I couldn't keep a smile from my face. I was happy I had Demi in my life. She made me the happiest I've ever been and the thought of losing her someday really scared me. She was someone I knew I wouldn't find in anyone else in the world. I loved her way too much.
We spent the lunch laughing and cuddling each other in the couch and she then read a book for me.
Demi: oh I like this one..."we loved with a love that was more than love" (I glanced up at her since I was resting my head on her lap and she smiled down at me) just like us
Nick: accurate (she chuckled and leant down to peck my lips)
The afternoon arrived and I told her to go for a walk. We started to walk through the forest holding hands and appreciating the whole beautiful place. I smiled when I noticed where we were arriving.
Nick: babe
Demi: mh? (She said glancing briefly at me)
Nick: you know, we've been together for 7 months now
Demi: yep (she said smiling slightly)
Nick: and like...I wanna say something to you, that I really important to me and that I've been keeping in my mind during this whole 7 months (her smile faded a little and I caressed her cheek stopping walking) it's not a bad thing
Demi: oh, thanks God, I was worried
Nick: so ummm...these past months have been the best thing that's ever happened to me (I said starting to walk slowly with her again) and I feel like in a way, it was meant to be. Like, all the ups and down we had before last year were just supposed to happen to get us connected as we are right now
Demi: yea, I think so
Nick: and then, all of a sudden I've realized how wrong I was when I thought that other woman was the one for me. I wish I didn't take that decision so fast
Demi: oh, maybe it was supposed to happen to (she said smiling and I nodded)
Nick: and now, I see everything clearer
Demi: what thing? (I smiled as we arrived to the place I settled) aw, look at this, I didn't know there was a place like this here (she spoon on her foot staring at the whole place and that's when I bent down on my knee)
Nick: I was way to blind to not see before that you're the one I wanna spend my life with (she turned around to look at me again and her jaw dropped) there's no one else I wanna share everyday of my life with, it's just you Demi...would you marry me? (I saw tears rolling down her eyes as she covered her mouth and it made me smile big even if I was nervous that she wouldn't accept)
Demi: what? Yes, of course yes! (She said smiling and I put the ring on her finger before standing up to kiss her sweetly for a few seconds) shit, I love you so much (she said hugging me and I kissed her neck softly)
Nick: I love you more my love
Demi: I can't believe this is happening! (She said smiling big and I pecked her lips and she took a photo of us)
Nick: I recorded everything, I just want you to know
Demi: what? Really? (I nodded and walked to a tree to take my phone out of it) you're so smart I can't even understand it (I chuckled and grabbed her hand)
Nick: I was terrified that you wouldn't accept
Demi: are you kidding me? (She asked smiling and I shook my head) I love you Nick, I would never say "no" to you
Nick: so, we're really doing this? (I asked and wrapped my arm around her shoulders to kiss her forehead)
Demi: yes, we are
