Number Three

Slipping on the royal blue dress Namjoon got me a few weeks ago, I was happy with my look for the family dinner. I also wanted to make a good impression on Jungkook. Namjoon always talked about him and how they would have lunch together. I had suggested several times that he invite him to the dinners we have every few weeks but he said he wanted to wait until he was settled.

I heard my phone go off and saw that Jimin was calling me.

"Hey there good looking." I answered.

"This is why I love you so much." He replied.

I laughed. "What's up Jiminie?"

"We are going to be a little late, I'm sorry Noona."

"That's alright, dinner isn't going to be ready until 7 anyway. Is everything okay?"

He chuckled. "Yes."

"What?" I asked, knowing there was more to that story.

"Well, let's just say that Taehyung got a little too lippy with Yoongi about a half an hour ago."

I winced. "Oh god, and how long is he going to make him wait to cum?"

"It will be a total of an hour..."

"Damn!" I laughed. "Yoongi must have been in a mood."

"Actually, no." Jimin smiled. "He has been in a great mood; Taehyung is the one that needed an attitude adjustment."

"And you aren't helping?"

"Oh I am. I just took a break because wanted to be sure to give you a heads up that we were going to be late."

I laughed. "Its an understandable tardiness. I appreciate the communication. Now I know to be extra nice to Taehyungie tonight."

He laughed. "Is Namjoon hyung home yet?"

"No, but he invited his work friend to join our dinner." I smiled.

"Oh, Jungkook?"

"Yep."

"That's great! Joon talks about him enough."

"I know. I was relieved to hear him say he had invited him. He's a little younger than you and Tae but not by a lot. Apparently, he doesn't really have any friends outside of work, so he's excited to meet people."

"Have you talked to Jin about it yet?"

"No, but he should be here before Joonie, so I'll lay down the law when he gets here."

He laughed. "Alright."

I then suddenly heard a very loud and drawn out 'please' in the background, making me wince again.

"Sorry Noona, I think I need to go be sure that Yoongi isn't getting out of hand."

"Don't forget to remind him of how much he adores Tae and to not break his poor soul."

"I won't let him, don't worry." He laughed. "We will be there as soon as we can."

"Be good to him Jiminie. He's a good boy."

"Yes, ma'am."

I hung up the phone with a laugh, knowing how Yoongi can get when he's 'punishing' Jimin or Taehyung. Yoongi and Jimin started dating in college and they entered a polyamorous relationship with Taehyung not too long ago. I have never seen them so happy and Taehyung seems to absolutely adore the both of them. But Yoongi's "daddy" mode gets switched on quickly with any attitude, and thankfully channels that annoyance into something fun and healthy for his partners. Tae and Jimin both have told me several times how good Yoongi is to them and it just makes me happy to hear that about my boyfriend's best friend.
