Ghost handed me the ring and I sighed, holding it tightly in my hand.

Vinny looked at me with an almost guilty frown. "What?"
"Where's your ring?"
"I threw it out the window. Fuck love, all it does is cause pain."

Vinny bit his lip as Ghost turned to face him with a frown. "What's wrong babe?"
"I-I have his ring.." Vinny whispered, keeping his head down low. "Really?" I said, sounding like I already knew he had it. I didn't.

"I'm sorry...I saw it in the drive and I couldn't just leave it there."
"Don't worry about it, seriously. I'm glad someone grabbed it so I didn't lose it for good." I mumbled, sitting down next to them on the sofa.

The sound of Slipknot Heretic Anthem started blasting from my phone, making me jump slightly. I really wasn't expecting my phone to go off. With an awkward laugh, I answered the call. "Hello?"
"This is all your fault!" Nick hissed.

"What is?"
"Gaia. She broke up with me!"
"Oh my fucking god. Shut the fuck up. Because of you bringing her here, I lost my fucking husband." I hissed into the phone, clenching my free hand into a fist.

Vinny and Ghost locked eyes briefly before pointing to the garden and walking out. "So it's my fault you didn't tell him about Lilia?"
"Did I fucking say that? No. So that's her name then, Lilia?"
"Yes." He snarled.

"Don't get all pissy with me. I'm not the one to blame for her leaving you."
"I'm not the one to blame for your bastard leaving you, then."
"Shut the fuck up Nick. Seriously shut it. I know why you think I'm to blame, but I'm not."

"Chris, when will you get it into your thick head? She left me because her daughter needs her BIOLOGICAL dad instead of the sorry bastard who looked after her for THREE FUCKING YEARS!"
"Don't fucking shout at me. If you wanna do that then get your little ass here and say it to my face. Come on."

"I'm not wasting my time with you." He scoffed. "Fine then." I said with a smile before hanging up. Fucking dickhead. My door knocked and when I opened it, Gaia was outside with Lilia, her daughter. "What the fuck do you want?"

"I wanna talk about this one."
"No. You destroyed my fucking life, again. If you get DNA evidence, with me there, then we'll talk. Until then, please. Fuck off." I said before slamming the door shut in her face. She started shouting at me, saying how I'll regret what I've done.

Well, I already do. I shouldn't have gotten with her. I walked outside to Ghost and Vin, who both smiled softly at me. "You alright?"
"I think so...I just can't believe everything that's happened. It's not like I cheated on him so why?" I said softly, feeling the growing numbness in my chest.

"I think he's just hurting. The same way you are, anyway. I don't know, maybe he just feels lonely? No, not lonely...jealous, almost."
"Maybe..." I whispered, putting Ricky's ring on the chain around my neck. "What did Nick want anyway?"

"Gaia broke up with him and turned up a few minutes ago. He's trying to blame me because I got her pregnant even though I didn't mean to. And then I blamed him for bringing her back into my life and destroying everything with Ricky."

"What'd you mean you didn't mean to get her pregnant?"
"I mean if I did, I didn't mean to. She swore down she was on birth control and the pill and everything."
"So you didn't wear anything?" Ghost yelled, standing up and glaring at me.

"I did...I don't understand how this could've happened!" I shouted before driving my fist into the side of the house. I let out a short yell as pain laced up my arm before I growled and punched the wall again. And again.

Ghost grabbed my arm and pulled me away from the wall, pulling me into his arms until I relaxed. "I know how I'm going to make it up to Ricky...but I'm gonna need your help."
"The band help or just mine?"
"The bands."

I quickly filled him in on the idea that popped into my head, surprised when he agreed to do it. "That's a good idea. I'll tell the others and we'll start practising right now."
"I just hope he'll listen.."

"He won't have much of a choice." Vinny mumbled before smirking at us.
