(Chris)

"What did you wanna talk about?"

"I'm thinking about renewing mine and Ricky's vows..." Angelo's eyes widened, but he nodded like he understood. Ryan, on the other hand, looked confused.

"What would the point of that be?"
"To show him I love him? And I thought that we actually were divorced..." I muttered, looking at my feet. If they didn't think it was a good idea, then I wouldn't bother.

Who am I kidding? Of course I'm going to bother. I fucking love him. "Do you even know what you do when you renew your vows?"
"No..."

Angelo sighed dramatically and chuckled. "Good because neither do I. I'll do some research and get back to you in a few days."
"Thanks Ange.." At that point in time, I wanted to hug Angelo as hard as I could. I loved him too, but like family. Not the way I love Ricky.

He nodded and left, dragging a protesting Ryan along with him. I stood there in the doorway, with a goofy grin on my face. I couldn't believe that I was actually back with Ricky. I was certain that we wouldn't get back together, because I'd fucked up.

"Baby? Come here, it's serious." Ricky called in a choked up voice. I ran in and looked at him with wide eyes. "G-Gaia said t-that the DNA results a-are here..."

My heart stopped. So did my world, actually. "What did she say?"
"That...they were inconclusive...this time, you need to be there." Inconclusive? Surely that was better than the results being a match.

"That's a good thing. Think about it, you can come with me so she doesn't try anything. And you can learn, when I learn, the results. I want you to be there with me, I need to start making it up to you."

Ricky wrapped himself around me, securing his legs around my waist, and his arms around my neck. My hands came up to his ass, partly to support him...but mostly because I love his ass.

I didn't know it, but Ricky was bawling against my chest silently. I only found out when he'd cried himself to sleep, going limp in my arms. I laid him down with a frown and looked at my damp shirt.

I felt bad, I should've realised he was crying. I should've fucking made him feel better...or something. And I didn't because I was thinking about his ass.

I pulled him into my arms, carried him into the bedroom and laid down with him in my arms. He rested his head on my chest while I laid on my back.

Ricky muttered something, someone's name in his sleep. I frowned in confusion, thinking he was having a nightmare. But then he moaned. "Ugh Ryan." He started groaning and whimpering in his sleep.

I tensed up, clenching my fists and trying to reason with myself. It wasn't like he could control his dreams, could he? But he was clearly having a wet dream about Ryan...

"CHRIS!" I jumped as he bolted up with tears rolling heavily down his cheeks. "Ricky?" He turned to face me and he lunged at me, wrapping his arms around my neck and pretty much climbing on top of me.

He cried into my chest while I sat up, pulling him into my lap. I stroked his hair with one hand, while the other went on his waist. "What happened?"
"I-It was horrible..." he didn't elaborate, and I didn't want him to.

Dani started whimpering and I regretfully pushed Ricky onto the bed. "I need to go sort Dani out, my love. I'll be back soon." Ricky nodded and wiped his eyes as I walked out.

After changing and feeding both of them, I managed to get back into my room to find Ricky fast asleep, curled up in the bed with his hair wild on the pillows. He looked so vulnerable when he was sleeping, and it made me feel privileged.

He didn't let people see him at his most vulnerable state, and here he was, letting me see it. Instead of laying down with him, I cleaned the house up.

When he woke up, he walked downstairs, holding two fidgety toddlers in his arms. I grabbed Damian out of his arms and pressed my lips against his head. He squealed and started babbling, flailing his arms around wildly.

"Hey baby." I murmured softly, putting Damian down on his play mat and wrapping my arm around Ricky's shoulders. Ricky rested his head against my arm and sighed softly. "They're growing up so fast...it doesn't seem real, y'know?"

"Yeah, I do. Their second birthday's in what, a week?" Ricky nodded glumly and set Dani down next to her brother. He wrapped his arms around my and buried his face in my chest.

"It'll be okay." He sighed and shook his head, staying silent while we held each other.
