-present time-

I winced and shook my head. That couldn't have happened, but I couldn't fake a memory that vivid. Was Andy on about Gaia with the kids, or Ricky?

How did I even have kids with Ricky?

Ryan walked in, cutting my thoughts off. He looked different too, he looked older and more mature. "Hey man."
"Hi Ry." I said with a small smile before yawning. "Me and the guys said that we'll all help you remember. You need to remember your kids, Dani and-"
"Damian...right?"

"Yeah. Lindsey, the bassist from Mindless Self Indulgence was the surrogate for you and Ricky...and for Gerard and Frank."
"They're married...right?"
"Yeah. Dev paid for Gee to go to rehab so he's back to normal, the way he used to be." I nodded and smiled weakly before the doctor walked in.

"Hello Chris, we've met before. I'm Dr. Manson. How are you feeling?"
"Confused. I can't remember anything but little parts..."
"That's a good thing. It's a sign of your memory returning. Give it a little more time and you should be able to remember everything."

"Doesn't help me right now, Doc."
"I know. Your friends are gonna come in one at a time and tell you some things you might have forgotten to help your memory."
"Are they allowed to do that?"

"Technically, no. But I like you and Ricky, you two are good kids." He said, smiling slyly at me before walking out. "God, the tours and everything were amazing Chris."
"I'm confused...I don't remember starting a band..."

"You did. And it's getting bigger and bigger every day. One time, you guys left me with a bunch of random people and drove 5 fucking miles before realising I wasn't there." He said with a bitter chuckle.

"Seriously?" A smile grew on my face when he nodded and grimaced. "I also drank Ricky's piss."
"WHAT!? Oh my god..." I said, laughing loudly before wincing when it hurt my head. "Trust me you don't wanna know. And then, this one time, we were playing AMERICA live, and Ricky hit a wrong note as soon as you started singing the America part."

"So he walked off stage and you was like A.M.E.R- where the fuck?"
"Damn..." I said with a small smile. I closed my eyes briefly and it was like I could remember being there. "Hang on...didn't I end up licking Ricky's face for a week?"
"Yeah haha. His reaction was priceless each time."

I smiled happily when some memories came flooding back, but I couldn't remember why I'd gotten with Ricky. I couldn't even remember how I met him, and only he could tell me that tale. "Is Ricky outside?"
"Yeah, I'll go get him."

True to his word, Ricky came in a few moments later and sat down next to me. "How did I meet you?"
"Oh haha. I'd just moved in, and I was standing outside the new house. You were walking past, and came up to me before asking my name. Then you left and I didn't see you until we went to school."

"You walked me to my lesson and introduced me to all of your friends, making me feel better about being in a new place. Then the next day, you and Ryan were waiting for me outside of my house and walked me to school, giving me some fags and a drink." He said, his eyes lighting up slightly.

"W-When did we get together?"
"Either the day you walked me to school, or the day after. You knocked on my door and mentioned about your gang, then Gerard and Frank came up and you kept me safe...and then I told you I liked you by accident. I think we kissed, I can't remember exactly what happened..."

"Wow...but I don't remember that...and why do I feel like something is missing?"
"We got divorced..." he said softly, keeping his head down low so I couldn't see his expression. "Why?"

"Fuck...we went on a break and you got drunk and had sex with Gaia...and she said you got her pregnant.."
"How? She took the morning after pill, and I made sure I wore a condom."
"Y-you remember?" He asked with wide eyes.

"I remember parts. I remember you being passed out naked on the bus, Ryan looking traumatised and I got you dressed."
"Oh god..." he said, clearly embarrassed.

"I'm...sorry. I must've been horrible to you..."
"What makes you say that Chris?"
"You divorced me...you got hurt because of me...you almost died." I mumbled, the past getting clearer each second.

"I overreacted...and I didn't file the divorce paperwork yet..."
"What does that mean?"
"Technically, if I burn the divorce papers, then we're still married."
