6 Months Later

Tiana's perspective.

Chance.

What were the chances of never waking up, what were the chances of never seeing the day of light again or the starts and moon at the night, hearing your name being called or even your favourite song?

What Were the Chances, of seeing a beam of light from the heavens and God himself showing the life you lived and the life you were going to miss? What was the chance of asking for a second chance to live your life? Here I am now, six months later. Blessed to be alive, blessed to be awake, hearing and seeing the life around me; about to see the sun and then the stars and moon later tonight.

Maria, Diana and Liv made sure that I was snapped out of my daydream, laughing, cheering and drink the most expensive champaign in the room and dancing along with the music costumed in their most beautiful pastel pink bridesmaid dresses.

What were the chances that now here I am standing in a pearl white dress that was made for me, breathing a boutique of fresh-picked roses that were for me?

"Wait where is the vail?!" Maria shrieked. She rushed around the room as me and the girls giggled. "Don' freak her out any more guys, not only is Maria the maid of honour but she is also going to be my sister-in-law. That's why she is so stressed out." I joked, shaking my head.

Maria laughed sarcastically from the other room, "fuck my life." she shouted.

Liv, Diana and I laughed.

I looked in the mirror staring at my beautiful self and I couldn't help but smile and spin around in place high on my white Louis Vuitton red bottoms. Dazzling, sensual and sweet a floral A-line gown, deep sweetheart neckline with an illusion inset and lace straps that revelled a deep v-back. I was a true princess with my hair curled into a neat bun with a beautiful tiara finish.
"Tia, hold still" Diana laughed.

I giggled happily, "Sorry, I can't help it. I'm just so happy." Liv and Diana laughed, "We can see that." I shook my head and sat down on the chair in front of the mirror making their job a lot easier. Suddenly Maria appeared with a bright smile, "Here it is." quicker than ever she began to place on the vail.

Concentration and focus were written all upon on Maria's face. She too was very beautiful in her bridesmaid dress, a simple hairdo and perfect makeup to make those eyes even brighter than they are. I was truly blessed, not only to have her as my best friend but my sister- law as well.
"What were the chances huh." I smiled, snapping her out of her concentration. Maria scrunched her eyebrows in confusion, "of what?"

"Of my best friend becoming my actual sister." I laughed. Maria smiled in realisation and shook her head, "We were always sisters' stupid. Even before Andrew, you were my sister." I smiled ever so happily, Maria smiled brightly satisfied and proud with her compleated work on my head, "Now, we are sisters for life, and we have eternity to make life even better."

Ever so quickly did I jump up and wrap my arms around her. "I love you"
She laughed hugging me right back, "I love you too."

"Tiana" Andre chanted, I giggled as the door opened seeing him walk in with the proudest smile, I stood in front of him showing him my beautiful dress, "tell me I'm pretty."

Andre hugged me quickly and pulled away making me spin around, "Woah-" he said shaking his head, putting his hand to his mouth. "That poor fucker"

"Andre. Language." Mama and Tato sterned as they too barged in. I laughed smacking Andre's arm, "If anything-" I began playfully but defensively, "He's the luckiest man alive."

"That's right Gorgeous," Tato smiled, I could almost see the tears form in my father's eyes, he had sighed, "my little girl." I sniffed and let out a little chuckle and wrapped my arms around my dad. "Forever and always Tato."

In the distance I watched my mother and friends smiling ever so happily at us. Mama had one hand looped around Andre's arm and the other one around Maria's just gushing at the Father, daughter moment it was very heartwarming.

"Now, are we ready to get married?!" Mama applauded. Everyone cheered and screamed and began to jump around. I kissed my dad on my cheek and looped it around mine as he too cheered as we walked out the dressing room.

As we stepped outside people were chanting as the melody of the small orchestra played, quickly Maria had instructed my baby cousin in line with her basket of flowers than my mother, Liv and Diana fixing each of their dress and hair making them the perfect bridesmaids. When they were finally ready she looked up at the orchestra and singled them to play my song.

The girls walked on, calmly, swiftly and beautifully. Everyone awed at my little flower girl and gave pretty smiles at my bridesmaids; as I watched them go on I couldn't help but awe and place a hand to my heart, I felt like a proud mother watching my kid walk for the first time.

Soon Maria had turned her head giving me a pretty smile, indicating that it was my turn. I had gasped falling into a pit of nervousness. Butterflies, gitters and a hell of a lot of happiness I was beyond excited but yet ever so nervous. Far on the other end of the aisle, for the first time in a day, I caught a glimpse of my husband. Handsome as ever with his all back suit standing tall and manly with his back faced me. In nervousness, I could see him fix his tie and the boutonnieres that was pinned to his fitted blazer.

Dazed, I could bearly keep my eyes off him.

"Are you ready?" My dad had whispered, gently squeezing on to my arm.
I nodded at him smiling, "without a doubt".

My father and I began to walk down the aisle of the beautifully decorated church, all eyes were glued on me. Happy, impressed and proud smiles were shot from both sides of the family people were snapping photographs and where murmuring positive comments and I couldn't help but blush.

Few steps in Andrew Harvey turned with the most radiant smile, and when we locked eyes I have never seen him so starstruck in my life. The way he looked at me up and down and the way he teared up when I walked closer had never made me feel so special and happy. It was true inside and out that he was genuinely excited to spend the rest of his life with me, and it was clear as day when he began bouncing on his toes like a child, it was impossible not to giggle.

"Don't be so nervous-" Tato said quietly, grasping my attention, I didn't realise that my hands were shaking until dad clutched onto one. "Marriage is a scaring thing Tiana, but when you know you have fallen so deeply in love, marriage is like an unconditional fire. You just need to keep lighting the spark to keep the fire alive."

Silently processing his wisdom I smiled at my dad and place a kiss on his cheek as I spoke quietly. "Thank you for your blessing Tato, thank you for always accepting him."

Tato nodded and looked down at me, and before I knew it we have stopped and my heart had sunk to the bottom of my ass. My dad smiled down at me, "Without him, I wouldn't have had my little girl standing here today." I felt my eyes fill with tears but quicker than ever my dad placed a quick kiss on my cheek and gave my hand in marriage.

I took a deep breath, Andrew's hands overlapped mine gently holding me as if I was fragile, slowly pulling me closer as I kept his gaze nervously onto the ground. Finally, when I dared to look up at him his eyes had beamed in the sun showing every single warm feeling inside him; that smile only grew wider when I did and that excitement in him became more radiant when I stepped closer into his arms.

For the first time in my life, I knew to trust that I was never going to be alone ever again.
